============ORIGINAL STORY=============
An early build of Sonic Generations was just discovered and leaked to the Internet. If anything this build is even earlier than the April 2011 footage shown back in the day. So, how early is this build? Here are all the changes I found so far:
- Unleashed elements/leftovers are even more apparent in this build, suggesting Sonic Team once planned to go with pure Unleashed gameplay style before refining for overall better controls.
- Only 3 levels have been made so far: Green Hill, Generations Rooftop Run, and an early version of Endless Boost mission for Gens Rooftop Run. However, most of them are unfinished.
- Sonic still begins with an empty boost gauge, instead of being fully filled in the final version.
- Controlling has not been refined yet, resulting in various issues when navigating through these levels.
- Framerate is capped to 60 again.
- Graphics are glitched, but that's probably because of the emulator I'm running, Xenia. It should have no problem running on a real Xbox 360.
- The build was still using Unleashed HUD before being completely overhauled. The full Unleashed score system was still present.
- Unleashed's QTE system was still one of the core part of the build's gameplay before being changed to trick system.
- Sonic's voices in this build have minor differences compared to the final version, but it already has Roger recorded.
- Some Generations animations for Sonic have been implemented, albeit quite buggy.
- There are no 2D white worlds or cutscenes yet. Levels were accessed using the same method as the Unleashed Preview Build.
