Thanks for the tour Gary. You are well ahead of the game with your seedlings. Well done. I have loads too on my allotment in north east Scotland too but not as many as you. I think that I need to clear a space in my garage for next year to get a system set up. I’ll study your videos on this. Thanks. The weather here is slowly heating up but the winds are still very cold with the nearby mountains covered in snow. All the best - Michael
Thanks for the update video & keep up the good work 👍🏻 I'm glad you chopped down the tree that was split for safety reasons. I think it's smart to cut off all the tops of trees if they get to tall. Especially if they're close to the house or other structures.
You’ve been working hard again, I see! Good for you. I am recovering from the Covid I had a few weeks ago, the fatigue seems to last a long time. My gardens and orchard are suffering. Hopefully, my energy is returning soon.
Depends what it is, the more hardy the earlier it goes out. Trouble is here cold loving crops bolt too quickly come may/June it’s too hot for them but yes most of them go out in May.
I noticed a handful of stone structures that don't appear to be buildings. It would be interesting to know their history: how long has it been since they were functional buildings? Do you know what people used them for?
There’s 2 that are ‘ruins’ we think they were most likely stables or animal outhouses, but can’t be sure. This is because of the iron rings on the wall where horses (to work the land) would have been tied to. The architectural history on this land goes back 500 years as we’ve discovered just this week.
