Being that it is my favorite post rock band, I can say how different it was for me to listen to each melody on the album (to what I have previously heard on the rest of their albums). Being that I have related each album to the occasion of reading, but this new album I have not yet been able to relate to anything. It will be time to experiment and see what I connect it with (I don't think the automatic translation interprets what I want to say perfectly hahaha). In short, I love April Rain

Having a new April Rain album feels like having a new "something" to life for. It was unexpected but yet precious and delightful. PS: 20:54 Swansong is my favourite one too closely followed by 40:22 Room Full Of Mirrors.

Honestly misread this as Avril Lavigne - Undertone. I was like: "Avril Lavigne does post-rock now? Holy shit!" It honestly sounds like Avril Lavigne and April Rain mashed together, way more pop and upbeat than april rain's usual stuff. I love thinking about it this way anyways.
