April had me reevaluating my choice to remain in school lmao. But hey we made it! Lydia is so talented and her voice is absolutely INCREDIBLE. It's so hard to be on stage, especially at an open mic, so major kudos to her! LOVE the bangs, they're so cute :D
My April was anything by a filler: quit my job, moved back to my parent’s house, had my car die on me the moment I got there (which also happened to be on my birthday) then got a new job and survived an armed robbery at the new job☠️ That’s like, three seasons at least
april has been the most fun and simultaneously the most burnt out I’ve ever been. Regardless, I enjoy watching your vlogs lots :D they are always so fun and feel like watching a private story LMAO. enjoy your May. See you in June 🌸
April was rough at first but ended on a good note. I turned a whopping 25 years of age. I started job hunting (still working at my current job while doing so). And I secured vip tickets for Ateez and almost got scammed $600 but we saved it! Now comes the fun part of buying stuff. But April was at least 6.5 out of 10 for me.
NGL, "Filler Month" sounds nice actually bc my April was "Rough" with a capital R. Winter Term finals were a bust and I had to start a new term the very next week where I had to go to class every single day at 9AM and log clinic hours at least once a week for the next 4 weeks... shoot me in the face. I hate it so much and it's still not over until the middle of May... why am I still a student?! * sobs * But at least Joonie's album is coming out the week after my birthday and I am super excited about that... so here's to silver linings on the horizon! April...was a month...I kinda felt like it was filler too and uni is kick my butt, but it was ok with a couple of thing like i went to my first film festival and John Travolta was there for the last day of the event, so that's probably my highlight.... movies: didn't watch many but the biggest one was "Who Shot The Pianist" that i saw in the festival. show: they are in limbo for me at this point... Music: Same ish of the last couple of months...nothing really new but yeah, I hope nadia you are able to survive if the rumors are true and hope you are having a great may ✨✨✨✨
April was such a wild ride for me. For April Fool’s day my car decided to break down… In the middle of a busy road… which was hhhhhhh I’m fine and my car is fixed but god what a way to start April. Anyways in lighter news I went to a culture concert, which was fun I got dressed up in traditional clothing and reconnected with my culture. My friends and I worked on a fun writing project. I con crunched so hard to complete my Princess Mononoke cosplay, but I survived and my cosplay looked great. We had some con shenanigans. Our little ghibli group got lots of compliments which was super neat! The con had a kpop random play dance set up and I had to solo some songs cuz for some reason nobody else knew the dances but me, it was so scary😖(still had a good time tho) And to finish off the month I went prom dress shopping for my younger sibling. It was a little overwhelming but they found a dress that they really liked. All in all my April both felt weirdly hectic and kinda empty.

for the purpose of giving engagement (bc eyyyy love your stuff), i will respond to your Call To Action for a My Month Summary: ● in a moment of "omg twin-ing✨️", i have also kinda gotten bangs? that i now like?? i got my hair cut at Supercuts several months ago and i was like "yeah, you can cut my front-bits-of-hair shorter" bc i have a pixie cut and my "bangs" grew out to behind-the-ear-tuckable so i don't count them as bangs anymore. and she heard my consent and went "okay!" and first snip: she immediately gAVE ME MICROBANGS. I LOOKED LIKE A TERF. anyway, been several months. now, my bangs are at eyebrow-level. and?? this is the first month i actually liked them? i was hiding them under a beanie or a bonnet for the longest time. but i actually liked this so much i took a picture to show future stylists "this length of bangs pls". i have moved from Terfy Villain Design to Main Character Design this month, we love to see it ● i have been watching X-Men '97 (which is a continuation of the 90s X-Men animated show. which i watched as re-runs with my superhero obsessed dad and brother when i was in kindergarten-age-range. i was born in the last couple years of the 90s, so i didnt gain A Consciousness until the early-mid 2000s. so. this was definitely re-runs, timeline doesnt add up otherwise. but yeah, some of my earliest memories were of that show and its soap-opera antics with fighting on the side. im shocked how much of the og series i remember as someone with chronic memory loss. like i fully remembered the last episode of the 90s tv show, so when X-Men 97 was like "Charles Xavier is dead 😔", i was like "Hold up. Wait. I thought he was alive but went off into space with triangle-haired people because he was dying and they could help, hold on. Did the triangle-haired people fail? Or are we retconning that whole bit, was that a studio interferring with a 'Xavier was supposed to die' plotline so kids wouldn't cry or something like that? Is he actually dead? Or are you fucking with me?". i wont spoil what they did, im just telling you my self-shock that i remembered that bit) and it has been AWESOME to watch that show, holy shit. so many easter eggs, so many GOOD PLOT MOMENTS, i like how they are mixing up different comic runs so theorists are all 👀 and have leads but no promise as to what comes next. i continue to be correct for having had a crush on Gambit as a kid and having had my favorite character as a kid be Morph, the 3D-CGI animation is amazing, i love all the thoughtfulness of the politicial intrigue. you dont need to know the 90s series to watch it, if you want to check it out. if you dont know anything about X-Men beside the live-action movies, i highly recc the youtube channel "New Rockstars" as a companion piece bc they break down comic refs and easter eggs and a lot of it works as foreshadow which is great. they also have a summary of the 90s show if you want that, you dont need it, but you can have it if you want lmao (also a youtube channel called Pillar Of Garbage does a great run-down of why some people are mad the show is "so woke now" while also saying people are dumb for being mad about it lol) highly recommend the show. i love this soap-opera hero-team so much lmao im so glad they are upping the political drama and minority allegories, amazing stuff ● and ive been surprised that ive gotten to make a couple of informal essays online. like. two people i admire on tumblr each asked a question to their audience, and im like "oh. i know the answer to that. i can find more out about it, so i dont just give them the basics. okay. yeah, sure" (was about a creative writing question regarding fantasy that i had gotten curious about → found a sufficent answer to myself 7 or so months ago) to one person and the other i was like "oh. i can find that out for you. ive done similar before, hold on, let me see if i can get a good answer" (was about a book they could not find that had traces of existing but no one knew what was up with it being published or not AND said book was about a subject that is both the op and my's special interest). and so i wrote 2 informal little essays on my tumblr, reblogged to the respective person's inquiry post. and both times, i was the definitely the longest answer by FAR (and was embarassed about it lmao both times, all other replies were like people in the Replies section, lil itty-bitty comments. like a pretty butterfly of an answer or opinion. and then i come over with Clifford The Big Red Dog on a leash in comparison with my face all flustered and bashful ripppp meeeeee) but i was also the most research-heavy with citations/references and fully answered their question. so i got reblogged and told "OMG THANK YOU, THIS IS SO MUCH AWESOME INFO" and helped them out in a significant way. someone hire me to be a research librarian. i dont have a degree but id be so good at answering people's questions and helping them find material lmao pls someone pay me to do it, im so broke ● and my cat was cute, she is very clingy and loves cuddles. but that's a given every month lol but yeah! i feel you on this month being A Filler Month. ive had an excess of those recently. i hope your next month just overall feels better! i hope you leave a review of the two Nancy Drew dvds you got, i never saw either of them, id love to know more! 💗
