So sorry to hear your mum has been poorly, wishing her a speedy recovery. My favourite book this month was The Shadow Key by Susan Stokes Chapman in case you find it in your charity shop.

Western Lane sounds okay but I am glad I passed on it as I am always wanting to find books to be better than just okay! I am glad you enjoyed set on you for the most part even though you didn't love all the elements of it. Would you still go on to read book 2 do you think?
