I had the Dorsoduro for 3 years and 12,000 miles, it never let me down and not a single problem. Most of these miles where in Central London. I would recommend it. My only criticism is that its a bit heavy.
Perfect for London, I'm after one of these. You sit high, gives you the advantage of weaving through traffic with excellent visibility, more so than the popular scooters!
I now ride a 2013 dorsduro 750 and its such a great bike. Will have to take some more trips into London and tear up the streets like you use to 10 years ago
Yes, any bike with a clutch. You need to time coming of the throttle slightly and change gear at that very instant. Some people will tell you to load the gear lever to have it ready, I disagree as that can harm the gearbox.
With an Akra and de-cat they make 76 BHP at the rear wheel. Lovely torquey engine, very nice bike, only downside for me was its weight, a bit on the heavy side.
theres a 2012 dorsoduro out here thats for sale. i looked it up to check how it may sound and came across your channel! haha youve come a long way from this mate! when are you coming to dubai again??
I looked at one in the shop yet I have a speed triple also and it seemed very similar to that. Perhaps I'll take it for a ride next time I'm in there. Keep the vids coming, great looking at riding in a different city from the other side of the world.
Thank you! Do you by the way also have a car drivers license or only the motorcycle? I'm a bit worried that I will have to get the car license too because of starting a family later etc. How did you manage this?
as you see the dorsoduro after so long? I have chance to buy a 5000 € to 16000 klm .... last question ... the video distorts the sound a little ... but it was seriously like your nothing, or similar? Thanks for everything, sorry my bad English and greetings from Spain
+RoyalJordanian pros and cons? brief...or not brief your choice....i'm thinkng of buying it for commuting and a touring trip once in a while around france...
. Bidot buy it! I have it for almost 3 years now, I'm from the Netherlands and been to Italy twice and France / south Germany 4 times. The bike is perfect for mountains and longer trips. It's not very awesome for home - work - home rides though. It behaves a little aggressive but you get used to it haha
well that's true haha, the 12 litre tank isnt a lot.. i can get 180 km with it, but that gives me time to rest from time to time so i cant be bothered much :)
+RoyalJordanian I googled this bike as soon as I loaded the video. 1200cc V-Twin! Then I saw the posted weight of the 2012 model: Just under 500 pounds! It's a friggin bus! It does sound incredible though. Well done wrestling it around the streets.
Lol, you aren't even 18 yet? Don't plan kids. Have kids at about 25-28 so you can have a good job by then. And make sure you find the right woman. Last thing you want is a single mum. Or a new dad in a child's life. And avoid marriage, or lose your home, car, motorbike and money.
