In the aprillia sr150 the right reflector is desiged to work as low beam and left as high beam i.e. they are desiged to focus light in that way. So even if you make dual hi/lo when in low beam your left reflector will throw light so high that it will glare opposite traffice and voce versa for hi
Hi I have SR150 Race. My Que is, what if I use only 1 LED. Means Low beam will be old HS1 Halogen and High beam will be New LED only. is it possible. or it will end up with "Melting".
If look closely its the reflector that will direct the light to low or high position. The filamet that lights up will aways be the high beam one in SR150. Are you trying to do a dual high n low? If yes then use leds they will run cooler without melting you reflector. But remember that the reflectors are tuned to work as low beam right and high beam on left. Doing a dual high low will mess up the focus.
Hello. For stock Halogens, is it safe to wire both bulbs together so that both are on or will that damage wires, switch, etc? I am thinking of connecting a diode so that when I switch to high beam, the low bulb also turns on
On this scooter in both dooms only high beam filament of the HS4 will b illuminated. The reflector by design on once side works like low beam and other side as high beam. If u make them dual high and low what happens is u power low beam filaments in both reflectors since the reflector are not desinged to capture and focus that filaments light correctly u end up with light scatter. Try this instead when u put high beam on then low beam will also stay on this will give u better visibility
I used this and after a month moved to HID as I wasn't happy. they were definitely better than the 35w halogens but not as good as the HID projectors i fixed later
Very informative video. Did u have to adjust the headlight beam after installing the leds? I have installed the same type of leds of the Nighteye brand on my Aprilia SR 150, but I get a very short light throw on both the low beam n the high beam.
Following your video, i upgraded my headlights with led which is similar to your one but one problem i am facing is that it is not focusing in the right place leading to problem for me during night commuting and it also lights up the place which is not required. It will be a great help for me if you can suggest me something.
The reflector in the headlight is made for low beam focus on one side and high beam focus on the other. while bulb is connected to high beam terminals in both doom. If you make it dual hi n low the reflector will not focus light properly on the road. Will be worse that original. This is why I moved to projectors.
The LEDs disparate only 30% heat compared to a 35w halogen. So they run really cool. After 10 minutes I was able to touch the heat sink. Normally you cant do that to the base of a halogen bulb.
Have a tuscon it has led dual barrel headlights will post a video of it later the lights are superb on it. Never needed to use highbeam unless to indicate.
Is it 2018 model? Was it a direct fit? Or u have converted the electric line from AC to DC. And are those led still working fine? Someone told me that in their case the leds are getting bad again and again
Yes its 2018 model. The led are now in a different sr150. i have fixed dual projector hids for the last year. The leds are still going strong no issues as they are fan less. Faned ones get weak as the fans get dirty with dust and hear management get bad
Hi Gaurav, 1) if budget is not an issue i strongly recommend Philips. Simply because on the light meter their 25w is better than all other brands. 2) Novsight is the next best. Their product quality is very good for a Chinese product. 3) which car do you plan to use this

bangood usually sends item using alljoy courrier and their price generally is inclusive of duty. Unlike aliexpress they arrive in 7 to 10 days I got my Novsight led, HJC helmet visor and the projectors from them.
If your doing using led the fine. Else reflectos will melt when your low beam filament is working as a drl. Go to car spares shop ask for H4 plugs. Fix them to your headlights backside then connect the open end of the wire together then fit female connectors to it. After wards plug the + of female connector to the stock low beam and high beam plugs respectively.
The Scoot has just hit 500 last evening. The tires feel alright but have read in the XBHP forums that they aren't the best in wet weather. I haven't felt it week or not grippy upto now.
Ok i did not wire as dual hi/lo because the doom is made only to focus low on right sode and high on left side. Even if i do dual hi/lo the light focus will not be good.
