I'm glad you like it. Both me and Ylleskog have done some time in the ditches and pavement so good protection is important. Especially when that fucker tries to run me over.
Have you EVER even watched one of your videos?! We always wear full MVD leathers or one/two piece suits... Yes there are a lot of supermoto groups where they ride in shorts and tees but don't blame us for it.
Supermofools Always good to hear. You guys make nice videos. I have never understand why people don't use full gears. Sure it is hot and sticky sometimes but its not like you're going on a date lol.

@@TopRevs Thats not a fair comment. the SXV is now 17 years old as well. Husky 1985 and Aprilia 2005. So 20 Years difference with way stricter emission regulations.
Ha, nice video. Old enough to remember Husqvarna, everything on the wrong side. Use to be the bike to have back in the day before I got my 77 YZ400. SXV looks like a nice bike but will probably attempt to make my 04 KX500 street legal one of these days.

Does anybody know which boots they are riding`? Look like high and protective boots but are no supermoto boots, are they? I like my MX boots but am looking for a high and protective alternative with more feeling for braking and shifting. Cheers, Daniel
Them big old 500 strokers still take some beating, you need balls like a horse just to get it going, the Honda cr 500 is probably quicker. i do love the 2 stroke no wonder the value has rocketed.

Du får helt enkelt ha i åtanke att det är en racehoj och motorn behöver täta oljebyten och ventiljustering etc. Sen är det ju lite med tur och otur om den går sönder eller inte, köp en hoj som låter okej i motorn så bör det inte vara några stora problem iallafall. +ylleskog Tänkte köpa en extrem lågmilare, ca 50mil eller så. Byta olja är ju inga problem, och ventiljustering är ju inga problem. Men så som jag har förstått det måste man plocka ut motorn från Aprilian då den är v-cylindrad. Låter bökigt, tillskillnad från encylindriga. Hur mycket jobbigare är det? :)

Hi! Do not listen to those people. I wonder if they even owned one for themselves if they say such things.. This is an extreme engine and you will have to deal with the maintenance that comes with it. Mine broke down hard one time but that's nothing compared to the fun it gave me!
Had a buddy who worked on aprillia's as the shop was a dealer. He almost gave up his job over those bikes. Absolute junk, really cool stuff but junk. The dealer had to drop them (aprillia's ) because they were losing so much money and customers. Bikes would sit for months waiting for parts just to have it break down for some other reason and wait months again, he showed me new bikes already dead and these bikes were not cheap. Can one Imagine how pissed you would be to have your new bike dead in the water shortly after purchase. And I'm not talking about one bike, this happened on a regular basis to just about everyone who bought one. Svx was incredibly fast and sounded awsome but the reliability was way below average.
2 cylinders are not for racing?! i see you don't understand much... in the old days the 2 strokies were much stronger than the 4t but these days the 4t are much better and especially the sxv that bike left everyone far back
