It's hard to believe that rf900 whit 125hp it's faster than aprilia . One is R and other is naked, and if you remove 2/3 teeth on the sprocket, the engine of aprilia will be capable 290'ss with no problems.

@@MotoTopSpeed I doubt it. Aerodynamics on RF900 are much better. There was road legal, slightly tuned RF900 in the 90’s in German PS magazine with 176HP that had measured top speed of 297km/h. Stock RF900’s real, not indicated, top speed is about 260-270km/h. On the speedo it shows over 285km/h. And it is 5 speed only. RF was made in 1994 and still has world record for average speed over 24h for a not tuned bike AFAIK. RF900 is only 125hp. You can see how fast it goes until 285 speedo, its the electronics. Just ecu flash it and you will see 300 without a problem.

@@tomegalokanaliful that is pure BS. Even with flashed electronics it will struggle to go faster than 275km/h. What is shows on the sppedo is fake. New blade shows 299 in 4th gear on the speedo when real speed is only 270-272km/h
