CHRIS D. There is a KAR96 GAS bolt rifle that uses shell too, I have the spring version. The problem is, the bullet or shell, sucks big time. The ejector fail to eject all the time and the power sucks like hell. I just can't stand it. lol... this one is NEVER failing, SUPERB performance!

dorikrutube 0.43grams? Depends on your shells man. You can shoot 0.43 with the mid or high power and it should work up to 200 feet I guess. This one have a nice steel barrel, and the size I am not very sure. The new version do not have hop-up which is BETTER than with hop up. The thing is because the hop up is prone to wear and tear due to the design, so might as well take it away for better result.

Did you take appart this beast? I'm very interested how it works inside especially the connection of inner barrel and shells where should be a hop up chamber(the weakest part of sniper rifle)

dorikrutube That IS the hop up adjusting knob there. The shells cannot be rebuilt to high power unless you have spare rods and stuff to build them. The mid power can turn into high power IF you have a machine to drill or remove the extra metal, but why not just take some money and buy the shells? LOL! Yes you can take apart the stuff of course, just like any other guns.. but then it is not recommended.

Yes, until you are low on Co2 when charging, then the power is lower on that shell for sure, but you can also expect the shells to be quite equal or about the same power most of the time.

harris harris Depends what shells you using. Devil shells hold more co2, so it is less fill per cartridge..

+El garage de Eli I have talked to the maker and they say the reason for the hop up removal is because the hop up gets jammed up and won't work well with the shells, so they just take it out and it works fine without the hopup now. The new version shoots the same, and if you want more power or range, you should go HPA and pump the shells up. I have tried pumping them up to 2k psi and they can fire out 42 friggin joules with 6mm steel ball, enough for hunting for sure, lol!

nope, never into those things much. I am a collector, and target shooter. Don't shoot people much... plus I am more into airguns if you see my other videos, and so I shoot lead and steel more than plastic. (that's why I love shooting metal bbs with airsoft too, hahaha!)

thanks for coming in, my DW is still alive of course, and it is not going to be weaker, just faster wear and tear on the hammer. APM50 can go up to 42 joules if you pump it with hpa with devil shells, pump to 2000psi, which I have tried, WAY more powerful if you wanna compare. I used .88g steel ball with the apm50. The DW most can go around 2-3 joules only lol

Hi my rifle is non hop-up version so shooting range is too small. Is there any solution making the range to be far? Is there any reason why new version is non hop up version?

Mazrym Taym I have not tested them myself but at mid range to close range they all seems to work quite well. I have seen people testing it on youtube up to 200 feet and it works to snipe a letter size paper too, good enough for wargames.

I don't have a co2 tank, and it will NOT work on HPA tank, I tested it already. HPA is not going to do anything.

dorikrutube no i won't work. I have tried 800, 850, 1000 and 1200psi, all don't work. They can have the same pressure but do not know the VOLUME is not the same. Co2 is in liquid form when stored, and a small space can contain a lot more Co2 than AIR. So that is why. With the same volume, if you wanna pack AIR in, it is harder to do, and so result is low power. It won't work on this design. I have tried many many many times.

cjradge Green gas is super weak and low pressure (about 110-150psi only) why do you want that shit in the shell when you can have Co2 or even HPA? I injected HPA into the shells now and they can hold up to 2000psi giving you a 42 joules bang with 6mm steel balls. I don't know how UK law works now, but these are all under 12fpe, and I don't see how you can fire live ammo with an airsoft barrel made of soft metal or just stainless steel.... that's just bullshit.... criminals can do anything, they can buy a pipe and make a gun, who the fuck cares about the law in their society? Chiinnature it band because it uses pre charged cartridges. air pistols under 6fpe are section 3 firearms in uk law same with 12fpe air rifles and we dont need a licence for them we can have powder burning rifles that are not semi auto(22LR in semi is allowed) we can have semi auto shotguns in any calibre these are section 1 firearms and are the hardest to get(black powder pistols are allowed on a section 1 too) section 2 is a 3 shot shotgun liceance with a barrel that that is not under 24ich the handgun ban is on the main land only there are other licence and categorises of firearms in the uk that civilians can own ....... ps have you seen the new Dan Wesson rifled barrel .177 pellet shooter.

juandearco What do you mean by not good shooting results? WHAT results? power? accuracy? what? and what scope do you have on the thing? I can fire plastic bbs with this using angle shells and it is very nice and tight in groupings too. Not more power the better, it could be just because the plastic BB you used is crappy. Get something decent, and weight have to be higher than 0.28 gram and you will do better. Anything light weight is garbage on a sniper rifle. If you want to fire metal BB, use higher power shells, shoot 6mm steel ball bearings, 0.90grams, you can get those on amazon and they are very hard hitting on the high power shells. True, and I have did the math - the shotgun, you can re-use the shells, and also use other things for ammo other than NEW BBs, you can use garbage, recycled bbs, pellets, or even just flour, whatever you like - which is free ammo there. For Co2 you can use bulk-fill to save cost. Other than that, it's all a one-time fee and no need to worry about buying expensive ammo afterward. The sniper is a .50Cal replica, so imagine buying 100 .50Cal bullets, not to mention the gun itself is already crazy expensive in firearm too. Then all you need is BBs, which can be not so pricy.... it is worth it! For AK, if you like the kick, I suggest the WE GBB, eventhough they don't have shell ejecting and stuff, but their kick is really damn top grade! If your local legislation allows you to own a real firearm, I don't know why you would buy a SCAM870 caus' for the same price you can get a nice real 12gage Mossberg maverick and like 70 slug rounds, or a Baikal coach gun and maybe 200/300 slug rounds. Much more fun to shoot... I don't know the price of the replica showed in the video but I'm sure that you can find a 22lr, or even maybe a .222/.223/.308 rifle for more or less the same price. If you are really interested in firearms, don't know much about it but want to get into it as I did, the biggest concern you may have is your country's firearm legislation, because you can find reliable and cheap firearms that shoot cheap ammo (or more expensive ones if you reuse the cases and recharge them), shoot it regulary in a range and get away with the same expenses as if you practice airsoft on a weekly basis. And for the legislation, if someone told me 6 years ago that (in France) you could, as a civilian, own a semi automatic pistol, assault rifle, SMG or even a god damn LMG or a friggin .50 cal rifle, I would have called him a liar, but I found that it is true. There are some obligations and restrictions of course but it is totally possible (unfortunatey, probably not for a long time though). And of course, real ammo is a lot more expensive than airsoft BBs, but for the guns themselves, especially the rifles, a good and realistic airsoft replica is sometimes the same price as the real version, or even a bit higher. For exemples, the mosin nagan. Where I live in France, real mosin nagan is between 350/450€ and a good airsoft replica is in the same spectrum. Same for the AK : the cheapest real AKs (but only semi-auto for civilians) start at about 500€, and good GBB airsoft AKs are between 400/600€. The gun category where there the most real ones cheaper than a good replica is for pump action and double barrel shotguns. Also same for some revolvers, especially if you compare top of the shelf airsoft revolvers to second hand real ones. You can also find semi auto 22lr versions of AR15 like rifles the same price as airsoft ones. Isn't that crazy ? So all I want to say is that IF you want to enjoy the fun of shooting guns for plinking (cause you don't play airsoft-like games with real guns, obviously), but you limit yourself to airsoft ONLY because you think it'll be cheaper, do some research because that is not true for a lot of guns : )

I did get it. I fixed it with parts I bought directly from APS and the bolt is a pain in the a$s to disassemble... I've yet to do range test I will be picking up CO2 from evike at airsoftcon

David Graham Wow this ammo can or the whatever you call it is damn durable. It's really metal and very sturdy, not just for show. You can use it for anything and kick it around! LOL! There is a lock on the cover too, so you can close it and it snap close securely, super good stuff if you want this can for ammo!
