so there's no normal staircase or footpath down to the gorge?

Hi, there are a number of walkways around the gorge rim with spectacular views of the waterfalls, cliffs and gorge, but you are correct there are no maintained trails leading to the floor of the gorge. Rich.

I thought those banana floats are only good in Queensland canyons.

1:47 if you don't use a banana float it doesn't count...
