Ma'am anthir formula for if rate increased as same in the question =(R/100+R)100. => if rate is increased by R% =(R/100-R)100. =>If rate is decreased by R%

this one is a long process. I have tricks to solve this type of question in a sec difference/initial X100 eg. initial was 100% and increased by 50% as per my tricks difference/initial X100 150-100/150X100=33.33%

Again 1sec. problem 50% increase means 3/2. To make expenditure is constant we have to multiple with 2/3.then only expenditure will remain constant. So here is answer is 1/3. In mental without pen and paper. 3)11/10*6/5=33/25. Different of 33and 25 is 8/25.which is 32%.no need to use pen and paper. All are 1sec. Problems.

Instead of learning the formula one can assume the nos...say l1=100...b1=50 and the calculate l2 and b2 accordingly. This is time consuming but u will get correct ans. And if there is decrease in lenth and incense in breadth u can use it as well
