1 Kmph means 1000m/3600s = 5/18 mps; 1 mps means 1/1Kmph = 18/5 Kmph; Hope you like this way to remember.

nice description, thanks. In this question we can directly say that the train runs the length of the bridge in 2 sec. That means it's speed in 2sec (260 m/s). so ans is 260÷2 =130m/s

Or for the type 3: We can solve it in a way like... In 2sec it's crossing 260m long bridge (diff btwn the time taken to cross the man and bridge) So, in 1sec i.e., the speed (D÷t) will be 260÷2 =130m/sec

speed = distance/ time......s= 10km/10min......1km=1000m and 1min=60 sec.....Here we have to calculate in m/s. Hence we are writing 10*1000m/10*60 sec...Thats it
