"Positional" isomerism is no longer accepted by AQA - you must write "position"

Isn't the molecular formula for Propene in question 3.3, 'C2H6' (i.e. General Formula for Alkenes: CnH2n)? It has been written instead as C3H8, so the equation balancing may actually be incorrect?

At 12:24 (Question 1.5), shouldn't the unit of the rate constant given in the question have s^-1 at the end?

for question 2.2 my gradient ended up being 2 x 10^-6 so when i divided the rates by each other I got 2.285 and then rounded it up to 2.23 and when I did 1.5^2 I got 2.25. I then rounded them both to 2s.f. and went on to say something like 'when conc. increases by 1.5times rate increases by a factor of 2.3 to 2s.f. 1.5 squared is 2.3 to 2s.f. so the order is 2' would I still get the marks in an exam?

Idk if you see the comments anymore, but just wanted to check: when asked to draw the structure of a molecule, do you have to draw out every bond like a displayed formula?

i know this is 4y old but it’s because of the central carbon being a chiral centre i think

idk if i’m being rlly stupid but question 8.1 (48:47) why is it 2-deoxyribose?, is it because of where it’s attached?, can you just put deoxyribose? cause i do biology as well so i would’ve just put that😅😅
@ruthadeleke9399

It's given in the data sheet and since all you have to do is copy it, they want you to copy it exactly 😅 you know how exacting chemistry is when it comes to names lol

@mattirmiger8291
@mattirmiger8291 5 лет назад
@@TruthPrevailsAlways-1 Nah the point of x4 is to get the 1.25 not having any decimals, could do by 8 but sometimes they want empirical which is simplest form.
