Aqualung should released a tempered glass version of this mask, they used to have one the Falco, but it's been discontinued years ago. I don't want to keep buying the same mask if the lenses get scratched

had mine for 2 months only, then the lens started to leak, when I tried to fix it the lens fell off... :(

Hi there, I have this exact mask by aqualung and the plastic lens has clouded up heavily and it makes it difficult to see. can you please tell me how to fix that?

HI, yes this happens quite often to the Sphera mask as the lens is made of perspex and not glass, so you very easily get micro scratches on the lens which over time makes the lens look cloudy. The only solution is to buy a new mask and then make sure you are very careful with the lens, so don't slide your mask into you fin foot pocket or leave the mask in your dive bag unprotected, you need to make sure you put it in its mask box right after diving to protect that lens...

@@TheScubaProfessionals really there is no fix for it? Like many eye glasses and spectacles have plastic lens and I was sure there is some remedy to get that cleaned

@@Gearsub You could try polish it with a plastic car glass buffer, if it’s already more or less ruined. It worked magic with my headlights on my car. Plastic glass.

@@TheScubaProfessionals it's not just the scratches. I took care of mine not a single scratch in 7 years (always put it back in the case first thing out of the water and washed it in clear water). The lenses fog up after about 5-6 years of use, they turn to this bluish foggy colour.

Do you know how to assemble this mask? I'm just wash this mask and it disintegrate on 4 parts: 2 lenses, silicone and frame. I have not idea how to connect this part in the mask back.

I found some clips on the back side witch can open the frame

Strange review. It sounds exactly the same as commercial description. The only one useful thing is mentioning that the lenses are made not from glass. Bcoz commercial descriptions try to avoid any mentioning of this.
