Awesome, thanks for the great review. There's too many holes in my Challenger K1 (which is also a bit small for me). Been looking for a replacement, and I may probably go with this kayak
Thanx for the review, I'm looking at the 312 Steam as I plan to do longer distance river excursions... tell your gf I say she should enjoy the view and be present without a phone in the hand :) No judgement due to the world we live in, but defeats the purpose of getting outside.
I hope you have some awesome adventures on your 312 steam She was probably just looking for a song to play on the speaker Unfortunately can’t play music and record Dam copyright laws 😂
I’m seriously thinking of getting the one person version of this. At 20 lbs it’s the most manageable for me. Great review. Did the seats give you any lumbar support?
No they didn't But there is cloth ones the have built-in support That we ended up getting I personally thing there a must They weren't too expensive There black have 2 metal/plastic supports Down both sides of the back and a pocket on the back A well worth investment Also a good paddle makes a huge difference
If you row properly you stengthen your core and back muscles which holds you up and get involved with the whole process not needed to sit in disconnected position to the kayak. THe 312 Steam seems to have a better seat though, but twice the price which is the one I'm looking into as I hope to cover longer distances.
