The really is a beautiful looking canoe, but is it actually de-laminating on the outside surface, just forward of the logo?? Life hacks are only good if you actually explain why you are hacking it in the first place, lol. If it is to always fold the deflated canoe in the same spot, well that seems counter intuitive to constantly flex the same spot over and over, instead of trying to spread the love, imo.
I have used this canoe for couple of months last summer. Lakes and rivers in Germany and two summer vacation at the Mediterranean sea. So far - no issues, but let's wait and see how my canoe is looking next summer. The "life hack" is related to the issue, that it is not easy to fold the canoe in the same way as before in order to fit it again into the transport bag. The marks are helping to fold the canoe exactly in the same way.
Thank you for your advice - it really make sense... If folded in a different way the canoe will not fit anymore into the transport bag, but much more important indeed is, that the drop stich material does not break...
Did I miss something or was the Power Fin for something else? A SUP perhaps? I was hoping it was for the Tomahawk & you were going to demonstrate how to install & use it.
I have used the Power Fin on both - SUP and canoe. It is designed for SUP but it can be used with some kayak/canoe boars as well. I will make soon a new video with my usage long term experiences during last summer
where can I get an adapter to pump up the keels? Why did they not put something like that in there? Where did you get those nice sunglasses with the straps on the neck? 🙃
Yes, I agree, it’s very strange that no adapter for the pump valve for the keels is included. I got an adapter set from decathlon for something around 5€ and it works great.
Agreed! First time I tried to pump it up I was completely flummoxed! I followed the instructions which seem to show that you just use the regular pump. Thought I was going crazy. Bonkers that they don't include or mention the need for an adapter.

No, the cable is too short, so the battery pack can be put only in a vertical position inside the kayak. But this is actually not an issue - in my opinion even better as if the battery will be laying on the floor of the boat. I will make soon a new video dedicated to the using of the combo kayak with electric drive and will show how I secure the battery inside the boat.
Could you please give me the info about the AIR-C Width. Their product description says 35 inches wide but when you measured it is only 32 1/2" inches. Can you please share the info. THank you kindly.
The full drop stitch construction is making this kayak more tippy than conventional inflatable boats, but it’s nothing you can’t get used to. It is absolutely OK to paddle solo then having a passenger on board. I’m paddling most of the time solo with wife and two kids on board - wondering every time how good this kayak is going especially considering it size, form and construction.

Itiwit X500 canoe is much longer (5,10m vs 4,78m), wider (1,00m vs 0,82m), heavier (35kg vs 25kg) and the maximum load is higher (250kg vs 210kg. Here in Germany it cost twice more (1400€ vs 700€). It has much better backpack/ trolley. The air pump is not included, but the included aqua marina pump is crap. The benefit of Aqua Marina C-578 is that this boat is actually a hybrid - you can paddle it as canoe with a single paddle as well as kayak with double paddle. And the most important point - you can handle this boat alone! I can lift the empty boat over my head and can carry it into the water if needed. I assume, that I will not be able to do the same with the Itiwit canoe. You will need a second person to bring the Itiwit canoe on water, so I hope your girlfriend is strong enough! For me personally having the possibility to attach an electric drive was very important. If going on a tour for several days, this is not important at all, because the battery of the Blue Drive works not longer than one hour. The greatest benefit of Itiwit is also that you can purchase the boat at Decathlon, test it and if you don’t like it, you can bring it back within a month without any questions.

I think these bulges are normal - they are on the opposite side of the valves. The drop-stitch technology uses low-stretch aramid fibers to hold the top and bottom surfaces equidistant from each other. In the area of the valves no such fibres can be placed, so on the opposite side some bulges should occur.

Hi, what are the dimensions of the package inside the backpack? I'm trying to figure out whether this boat would fit into our luggage compartment of our bus, but it's mentioned nowhere. Does the backpack contain everything needed (boat, pump, seats, pedals)?
The dimensions of the folded kayak are 100 x 60 cm. The package content 1 kayak, 3 seats, 2 fins, 1 pump, 1 backpack. The backpack is low quality and pretty small sized. It is very to put the folded kayak inside of it. To succeed - follow the folding instructions in the video. You can put one or two seats inside of it beside the boat, but I will recommend to use the backpack only for the kayak.
Tomahawk Air-C is actually a hybrid between kayak and canoe and the greatest advantage of this construction is a plenty of space for luggage inside the boat. In a next video I will show the boat in action and fully loaded - stay tuned!
