@Justin-TPG Same great flavor, but now with 100% all natural rules accuracy. I do make rules mistakes from time to time, but this one was pretty significant so I felt the need to reshoot the back half to correct it. Feel free to share it all you want now! Two new playthrough videos will still post tomorrow at the usual time.

Watched through again last night and we concluded that this would make a really good phone/tablet game, as it could incorporate a wider number of rover parts and missions. Of course, there will have been work put into the balance of the game as it is, but I imagine the prospect of different parts and abilities, different shapes to achieve, artwork that still reflects the missions but presented in high resolution, the potential for expansions and updates. There could even be the possibility of a mode that makes the missions more interactive based on their type, while still offering or not straying too far from the core game

@Justin-TPG I suspect you’re right! I do suspect that Button Shy will release up to 3 Aqua ROVE mini-expansions at some point-that seems to be their typical model, and it’s what they did with the original ROVE too-so additional modules/missions/other twists may still be coming!

I’m a Button Shy addict. My first purchase was ROVE, Sprawlopolis, and Food Chain Island, and those got me hooked. I’m a backer most months now.

@sapien01010 My collection has grown pretty quickly! But the shelf space is minimal. Tell me about Sprawlopolis; I’ve heard of it but not researched it. Seems like there are a lot of expansions

@@table_for_one Sprawlopolis, I believe, is their most commercially successful game. I actually bought it first for my niece because I didn't think I would like it. I didn't know much about tile-layers as the time (outside Carcassonne). But it quickly became my favorite and most-played Button Shy game. I highly recommend you give it a try, especially if you like tile-laying games. I wouldn't worry about the expansions at this point. Naturopolis and Agropolis are stand-alone games that feature the same core gameplay, and the Combopolis packs are used to combine 2 or three of those games into a larger game. Of the three, I like Naturopolis the best, but I would just start with whatever theme or color scheme you like the best. They are all pretty similar.

Thank you for the playthrough! I have the original Rove and this one (both PnP) but I haven't played them yet. Cool that you're gonna show a lot of Button Shy games on the channel! Aaand I've just backed A Nice Cuppa thanks to your playthrough.

@eledv4521 Take it from someone who *really* dislikes tea: you're going to love A Nice Cuppa! I personally ordered a copy for myself on the Kickstarter, and I'm looking forward to the bonus expansion cards (Seasonal Stresses and A Good Book). I saw after filming this Aqua ROVE video that there is a special card that allows you to play ROVE and then Aqua ROVE in one continuous adventure, might check that out! @@table_for_one Oh yes I remember you shared your story about your trauma with tea haha, I actually have one myself and also dislike tea as a result! Oh that's cool about the special card, hopefully it's gonna be available as PnP! Thanks for letting me know
