Aquaman Kills Deathstroke And Lex Luthor
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is a direct-to-video animated film adaptation of the 2011 comic book crossover "Flashpoint" by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert. It is scripted by Jim Krieg and directed by Jay Oliva. The film stars Justin Chambers as Barry Allen / Flash, C. Thomas Howell as Eobard Thawne / Professor Zoom, Michael B. Jordan as Victor Stone / Cyborg, and Kevin McKidd as Thomas Wayne / Batman. The film also sees actors reprising roles from other DC Animated properties, including Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan / Green Lantern, Ron Perlman as Deathstroke, Dana Delany as Lois Lane, Vanessa Marshall as Princess Diana / Wonder Woman and Dee Bradley Baker as Etrigan.

Yeah, lot of the comic stuff was cut (they made Aquaman's infidelity center of the conflict, rather than having whole arc where Orm and Penthesilea orchestrated series of provocations and manipulated both Arthur and Diana against each other: Diana found out it in the end and tried to fix things, but by then too much had already happened), but then again as Flashpoint was several books long from every side of the characters, something had to be cut to condense it.

Small Arms seems to have been buffed in this movie. Deathstroke's crew's rifles and his pistol doesn't seems to have no problem in killing Atlanteans while the shots from rifles of the U.S. army in Thrones of Atlantis bounces off them.

Deathstroke in Flashpoint is a pirate, a scavenger. In a world where Atlanteans are at open war with Europe, he is obviously going to pack enough heat to handle Atlanteans (though clearly he was not ready to go up against Aquaman's flagship). He also had a bunch of metahumans and advanced tech users like Sonar, Icicle, Jenny Blitz, The Eel, Tattooed Man, and Clayface to bolster his ranks.

Deathstroke was portrayed here better than in Son of Batman. Deathstroke is a beast who pretty much out duels everyone except Manta, who’s armor and laser beams are too strong for his. Deathstroke is a master martial artist but he’s not unbeatable.

Exactly, in the comics though he did win against Black manta who was matching him from blows to quickness, it was kinda like seeing batman going up against him but ofcourse he only lasted a while mainly because he kept getting shot at and was trying to protect Harley and the team so his mind was everywhere, even Deathstroke stated he could’ve won if he was focused.

Deathstroke and Luthor are just amoral. They serve their own goals (money and power, though Deathstroke has some code of honor), and will serve either the cause of evil or good to advance that; in this world, that's good. It's worth noting here that Luthor is willing to work with superhumans here-quite likely because Flashpoint Lex never had the experience of Kal-El challenging his power and self-image, so Flashpoint Lex doesn't have the insane hatred of superhumans that our world's Lex has. Black Manta is IMMORAL. He will serve the most evil cause. In a universe where Aquaman is evil, he will let Aquaman make him his flunky.

That first part may be true, but I’m pretty sure that Slade and Lex are leaning towards the area between amoral and moral, since those two along with the Ravager crew are part of the resistance which aims to prevent the incoming war by retrieving location intel for said resistance. You could say that Deathstroke in the Flashpoint comic is amoral, since he’s a pirate and pillages the nearest ship in the same ocean, but he cares for his crew members and mostly, his daughter who was kidnapped. His interests lie within his family and pirate crew. When the pirate crew had decided to betray Slade, he had no other reason to care for them any longer, so he immediately slayed them all. That’s a pretty cold thing to do right after he and the crew had fought many rivaling pirates. But then, he saves his daughter, the only person he actually cared about by the end of his comic arc.

As much as I love deathstroke he is after all a superhuman kinda like captain America but Black Manta goes up against Aquaman on a daily basis and Aquaman has held his own in a fight against Wonder Woman and Superman so Deathstroke was outmatched here he’s a great and powerful fighter in his own right but against the Atlanteana he’s fodder tbh

Agreed. People sleep on Aqua man but I understand because he’s kinda corny. I like him better as a villain/anti-hero just due to the fact his powers are kinda lame, even though he’s powerful. He can show it off better as a villain.

Deathstroke is a better martial artist in my opinion but everything else from weapons even if hes not superhuman hes got the armour that can withstand Aquaman so its really hard for deathstroke to beat him unless both don’t have their armour.

He's like Captain America but a lot stronger than him. I'm not sure why you're scaling Black Manta to Aquaman, since while he does go up against him, Manta isn't nearly as strong. Aquaman just like most DC Superheroes, holds back against Manta. Deathstroke's strength feats put him on the same level as Manta, he's much more skilled and fast enough to dodge his beams, his durability is higher too considering he has taken blows from Bizzaro clones and even from Lobo on his face when it was uncovered. Not to mention he won against Black Manta in the comics.

Deathstroke is one of my fav characters but why do people overrate him? He is not surviving a blast from Black Manta that can injure Aquaman. Also comics are often inconsistent or have heavy plot armour

For the sake of the endless fighting in the comment section every time I enjoy this Fight: “This is a different time line” different events leading up to it. For all we know Death Stroke as an actual Stroke going on. I’m a huge Manta fan but even I know he’d have a much harder time killing a terminator like Slade in the original time line

Luthor and the others on the ship are part of the resistance standing up against Atlantis, the kingdom in a war with the Amazons. (Aquaman and Wonder Woman had an affair, Aquaman's wife confronted Diana, but was killed, Aquaman retaliated with war, the world is caught in the middle). Luthor is on the ship because he has a hunch that there is a superweapon being kept nearby by the Atlanteans. He is actually right.

I don’t know Slade that well in the comics but he was unstoppable in New 52 nee suicide squad, Harley quinn, Deadshot, even boomerang struggled to land one hit on him where Black Manta was the only one capable of fighting him but even after his fight, no one could hit deathstroke until he was distracted.
