You mean the number of turns? If yes, it depends upon the size of your transformer inner core, Just follow the formula that i have shown in this video.
Wonderful I have a DC aquarium air pump the circuit board is damaged I tried to connect the transfer directly to 4 v battery but I found interrupted moving and didn't run well do have any idea to make it run
The best way is to repair the circuit board. You must test all the electronic components with a multimeter and replace those faulty componets. Just test the voltage rail from the battery socket going to the motor. What is the recommended operating voltage of your DC PUMP?
@@ronron322 the old battery was 3.7 v I'm using li-ion .the electronic components are damaged and the transformer doesn't work well when I connect it with the battery
@@captmohelsaadany6751 The transfomer should not work if you directly connect it with the battery. The transformer needs a switching TRANSISTOR to oscillate in the primary winding in order to produce the desired voltage in the secondary winding. The Transformer cannot operate without a ciruit.
It depends on how many watts your pump can operate. For this pump, it can operate 4 watts, so i used #38 wire. Each wire size corresponds different wattage. You may use google for the wattage of each wire size.
@@ronnelmindo898 if your core is not the same as mine in this video, you should compute it using the formula I used in the video. Do not follow the number of turns I used in this video because the size of the core we are using is different.
@@jingleoropa1524 it doesn't work if 4620 turns doesn't fit in the inner core, i don't really know if avr transformer windings will fit. Just try to use the primary winding of the avr.
