i couldnt see the brand but if it was krylon fusion it would be completely fine once cured. its a spray paint intended to bond to plastic and is 100% inert when cured (1 week dry time) =) its used in a lot of diy aquarium hobbies.
That is Awesome! Great idea, great invention, great build, beautiful Aquarium and, beautiful Fish! I Love it! Thank you very much for sharing! Have a great week!
This is actually a really cool. Aquarium hobbyist would know how to properly make this an awesome setup( So ignore the hate). Good work on the idea never thought to use flower pots in this way.
AQUARIUM HOBBYIST WOULD NEVER DO THIS, THERE IS NO HATE ANYWHERE HERE JUST GOOD ADVICE, THE HATE IS IN YOUR HEAD. IDIOTS THAT DO THINGS LIKE THIS ARE NOT OKAY
Why do people love to use the word "hate" in place of the word "disagreement?" There is no hate here, an aquarist would not do this, firstly the tank is overcrowded even with the fish being so small, they're going to grow and it'll get worse, second having the water falling like that is actually quite unsettling for the fish, thirdly the decor isn't great for them, no filter no air stone and lastly I am not actually sure how safe that spray paint would be for the fish. Anyone who truly cares about fish wouldn't do this but it's a gorgeous idea for a water feature.
@@TheFakeyCakeMaker You are correct. It was a word used in the improper place. Good on you for calling me out. :) I should have known better as I get on my kiddos for the improper use of the word.
@@TheFakeyCakeMaker the water falling like that is actually quite unsettling for the fish, < I don't see how it would be unsettling when I have it in my 55 gal tanks & mine play in it so please explain.
What no biological subtraits you have only macanical filtration not a great idea and definitely no painting 🎨 on inside of aquarium other than that this is really cool idea good job 👍👌‼️❣️
Aquarium World where? Place the rocks before the gravel bottom, apply the poisonous paint inside the tank, don't even place a plant and don't acclimatise the poor fish! I told you more Assassin World!
@@royshaw4592 So in another comment you say there is no hate yet you call this person an idiot, and why all the caps, if you have something to say be civil, try behaving like a human being, if you can. It may not be the perfect setup but it shows some ingenuity that others may get ideas from
dude,.. this was a kickAss idea!!! Mind if i borrow it to build a similar setup on a larger scale?? Did u use silicone adhesive, or silicone sealant? Also how did u get glass to seal to plastic pot? i wonder if acrylic would be better idea & use weld on 3 to seal it?? THX for sharing!!
Looks cool but you would lose so much water daily due to splashing of the water as the water from the spray bar hit the surface of the water in the flower pot not to mention that the flowerpot probably wouldn't last for more than a year.
@@thomasashe2681 I was replying to your statement "not to mention that the flowerpot probably wouldn't last for more than a year.". I have water lily planted in that tank so quite less actually.

I do not recommend spraying the inside walls with blue spray paint , that would need to dry for atleast 2 weeks to cure and for the smell to dry up. Also that blue paint will start peeling after a while , just by how the person applyed the paint . For spray paint to sit longer on a surface it needs to be applied in 20 thin layers . I use to spray my glass tank with sky blue spray paint , and would apply 20 thin layers which took me about an hour to apply . When you take a blade scrapper and scrap the dry paint off the glass and its hard to come off , then you know you did a very good job .
Krylon Fusion and Plasti Dip are ones that are used , you may like this article: fishlab.com/aquarium-safe-paint/ I’m a complete boomer when it comes to posting links, sorry
I would never make one over a few gallons. Unless its heavy duty plastic made with UV proof polymers. I mean,I've used totes as planters..and they got brittle in 2 years and were shattering at 3 or 4.
