Just came from your Betta Community tank video from 6 YEARS ago! THIS is the glow up I was hoping for 🥲🥹 I can’t believe you made these I was JUST looking at these for my blue dream shrimp!!!
You should make mazes for the bottom of the substrate and make it with vents it'll be great for the plants and the shrimp will be able to have a lot of space in the mazes sort of like ant tunnels
Question: could you make a tunnel that goes significantly vertical/deeper into the substrate before it goes horizontal? I have a nearly 6" deep soil & sand substrate. Love your content!
To elaborate: I am going to have a plant-heavy 45g freshwater aquarium. Most of the substrate will be 3-4" of sand, with 2-3" of dirt below it, , but a few areas (maybe 10% of the space) will be classic gravel instead of sand. I'd love to have a tunnel that can go downward in the gravel layer, then horizontally into my dirt/sand layer. That way the tunnel wouldn't disrupt the plant growth AND it'd be a cool underwater cavern / trench.
Pardon the third comment. Basically it would be a shrimp cavern that goes, say, 3" down, then 6" across or turns into a cool winding cavern with a cave at the end.
Hi, I saw your hides, and thought about buying some, but I didn't want something that could be viewed from outside of the tank. You ought to consider making something that is lower profile for people who have a more naturalistic tank set up.
