Most recent ex seemed to get joy out of hurting me and controlling my emotions. He loved watching me fall apart and be blindsided by him. Each time, I’ve picked myself up and I always seem to do better without him. I think he doesn’t get that I’ve dealt with way bigger a-holes than him. Life has handed me a lot of lemons. I’ve been strong for a long time and I have more guts than he has ever had. I’m so much happier without him and getting back to who I was!

So glad I stopped investing energy into those who wish and attempt to do evil against me. When they hurt us they hurt themselves. I used them scissors on toxic family. My narc mom passed away 6 months ago. I lived with her all of my life (39 yrs.) and struggled with depression since I was 12. After my narcissistic mom passed, I had to contend w/ my toxic sisters who were all really close to her and of course, had narc tendencies too. I'm the black of sheep in my family. My sisters decided to sell my mom's house and I finally moved out of that house about a week ago. I'm trying to do a complete family estrangement. It feels a bit awkward but liberating at the same time. :D Thank you for this!! 🙏

Wow, I can tell u got to some points there where it was uncomfortable to even say how negative that person is who’s attached to me. I was thinking “oh, he’s not going to go all the way and say it! I had a parent who was constantly in the background wanting to befriend anyone I didnt get on with - so toxic. and a friend who really did the same , its gaslighting they want to see you react so you lose everthing.
