I'm so sorry we missed each other. I meant to post something about the event, but then got ridiculously busy and never got it posted. It's a wonderful town you have there. I didn't get to explore much of it because I was tied up at the comic con, however I did manage to take a moment to visit Harborough Aquatics. And yes, there is a forthcoming video about it. 😁

Hopefully I will be back in the area before too long and I will be sure to let you snd everyone else know about it way in advance.

@@Aquatasy No worries! Funnily enough I've never been to harborough aquatics even though it's so close to me, so it will be interesting to see what it's like. Maybe I'll go there the next time I have a tank that needs stocking. Next time I'll be sure not to miss you 😆

@SpiritAquatics You'll see when I post the video (got to edit it first) that Harborough Aquatics is a small store, but exceptionally nice. Very healthy fish, clean tanks, good selection of products, lots of nice hardscaping materials, and (if I correctly did the currency conversion in my head) reasonable prices.

I feel for you. It can be difficult sometimes being able to place your aquarium in the right spot. People sometimes don't take into account the weight of an aquarium once it is filled with water. It's smart that you are not risking putting a big tank in a room where the floor might not support it. There are several reasons why many fishkeepers have their aquariums in a basement or garage. Partly it's because the floor can hold it. It is also a desirable spot for some hobbyists because they typically don't have to worry about getting water on carpeting or anything like that. If you are concerned about cold weather at certain times of the year you can run a heater on your tank. If you get one with an adjustable thermostat on it then you can set the temperature of the water for whatever kind of fish you plan to keep: higher for warm water fish like Discus, lower for cool water fish like Goldfish, or somewhere in the middle for other species.
