Very nice review! This is a recent addition to my collection that I haven't played, yet. I'm pretty sure that I'll pick up the expansion, and add it before playing. I've heard nothing but good things about the Cold Waters expansion.

I was considering Aquatica, but like you, I wouldn't get it unless I can get the expansion as well. From what I've learned the biggest draw for me is the combo building. I like deck builders, tableaus and card combos. Aquatica should work for me.

@@TwoSheepOneWheat Not yet. The store downtown which has both games is still awaiting other games I've ordered so I'm hoping to pick them up all at once. But I am looking forward to it!

I've looked at this one a few times, the art really draws me in. I usually sleeve my card games though and I'm not sure that would work here...

I'm not too sure if it would work or not. We usually sleeve our card games too. But these cards are pretty good quality so I think they would last a while. Thanks for watching!

@@TwoSheepOneWheat I looked into things more, BGG forums say it's super tight and some sleeves may not work. But then those are the locations and they don't go in your hand, so I guess don't sleeve those? I get paranoid about the super nice cards that get handled a lot, especially with what games cost these days in Canadian Pesos...

Oh good to know! You're right, they don't go to your hands so you're not handling them much. I'd hate to ruin the cards too! Let me know how it works if you sleeve them!
