Kinda disappointed in our favorite boat maker. Could’ve done SO much more with seating, head, transom ladder (take notes from world cat), and hard top. Dang it please try again 😎 Love your videos Boat Test, keep up the great work!!
I agree. Also, this top power spec is not enough. 45 mph is just too slow, and the cruise speed/fuel economy very slow, and worse than many similar size monohulls.
Amazed to see life jacket being worn in FLA…seems like only Captain Steve is to only Floridian boater who wears a life jacket. If you didn’t know better you’d think, by observation, that life jackets are illegal in FLA bec it looks like no one wears them.
I have watched a lot of Captain Steve's review videos and he's right we are well aware of his love for catamarans/trawlers/super yachts/center consoles/ribs/jet skis/canoes/tri-marans, sailing, florida, etc. etc. Just kidding, do really enjoy your work!
I'm slightly surprised they didn't incorporate the foiling tech from the 36 footer and inward leaning engines like Insetta and Hammer use. A very nice "starter" cat from one of my wish-list companies!
Fuel economy is questionable. Other boats similar length to get better fuel economy, and not by just a little. Boat may do better with slightly more power, could be an underpower issue.
This boat screams “cost cutter“, with the 12” screen being a perfect example. And, such poorly designed helm. For what it costs, I’d rather buy an older Freeman and have it refurbished for a much nicer, more capable boat.
For starters, what's wrong with being built to a budget? Or with a 12" display let alone two 12" displays? It's a CC those displays are right in his face, not a few feet away from him in a glass dash of a yacht's captain's throne. As for why the helm's bad, go for it...
@@darthkek1953 Have a look at modern, high-end CC’s, like Freeman, Fountain, and others, as to why. It looks as if they didn’t know what to do. Again, for their asking price, it’s a letdown.
