thats definitely one of the thing you can learn, fancy moves and deep threes will get you nowhere if you are not fundamentally sound, it sounds stupid but learn in order of how things happen on the court learn how to catch, then dribble, then shoot. Oh and athleticism at the high school level can pretty much guarantee you to be an at least effective scorer.
They are trying to block him, but he's either jumping against the defender's momentum to get an open lay-up or jumping into them to get the foul, and they're just backing away so they get more minutes without foul trouble.
scoring is one of the individuals goals to reach for sure. Maybe the most rewarded. But to be a good basketballer you need to have some rebond, pass skills, and for the best, the leadership !!
yeah no he is gonna go play pro over seas in the euro league he already has offers from a team over there. But I wish he comes back in a couple years and plays in the NBA
at 5'6ish he is a freakish athlete with superb body control... right now he is more earl bokins than mugsy bouges but he is that good. & he doesnt pass unless somebody makes him but it seems that few people can make him do that, so buckets he gets... his defence will determine if the nba is in his future. Hes gonna murder college tho!!! oh & when he does pass he makes the right one...
your exactly right but at the same time not everybody in the top 100 gets drafted, especially not that far ranked. Im not taking anything away from his talent but if he goes undrafted most likely it will because of his height. Those moves work now but in the NBA? I really dont think so.
niggas needed to stp hating off hem bc of his size look at da highlights speak volume rs, iplayed jv for patty and i learned sum shat for practicing and watchn hem play, am only 5"10 size doesnt mean anythang heart and self confidence take anybody a long way and its ur mindset am onna grind nw
it doesn't seem like it. Just because he is small doesn't mean it is easy to block. Aquille Carr creates space by going into your chest or double clutching in the air and do some freaky ninja shit that he randomly pulls out his ass. Easier said than done to just jump up and block
it's an innate talent you possess or don't, it's a mentality that's instilled within one. Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant? You can't work to become them, simple as that, you are either born with the raw potential and thus able to progress it or not. 6'6" Joe Shmoe can't become Kobe Bryant unless he has that ability already within him
And what rank are you keep in mind there are hundreds of thousands of people who play basketball so what hes ranked 95th in the country he's still beating out thousands of people.
