Warning: Scuffed rotations ;P I haven't gotten used to Chiori's E swap just yet, and I sometimes instinctively does the Alhaitham thingy (hold E -> plunge) and miss out on the much-more-valuable two geo hits. And I didn't bother putting Albedo's flower back when it gets destroyed (sometimes instantly), mostly because even if I did, I wouldn't magically 3-star the chamber anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This cycle too, I only got up to 11-3… 12-1 first half is just impossible for me with the builds I have now. Either too weak to deal enough damage, or too squishy and get obliterated instantly. I hate those breacher primuses.
Those dendro balls are pretty high on my hate list as well (Hoyo always pair them up with pyro enemies too ;-;) Their dendro resistance slowed my hyperbloom team down by a lot, so I switched to a freeze team when I retried. Not sure how much faster I cleared 12-1-1 with them, but at least it's easier to survive :D

Don’t bear yourself up over it! Getting to 12-3 takes a very long time, a lot of people don’t get there until they’re AR58 or higher. This person, while being ar35, has the same experience as someone who would be ar60, and has worked on their characters, weapons, artifacts and talents for years. Despite the fact that ar55 would seem like endgame, it takes on average two to three months to get from ar1 to ar55, and then more than a year to get from ar55 to ar60. Which means that (and I don’t mean it condescendingly but rather to reassure you) you’re still in the “early game” phase of your account! It’s perfectly reasonable to not have 8 perfectly built characters with wonderful artifacts and fluid rotations.
what teams do you use? maybe try hyperbloom on the first half (or neuvillette if you have him cause he's broken) and hyper invest into the second team, the abyss there is right now can be cleared with any element but hu tao PL might do it the best
