Any update on approx completion dates? Speed limit going to be 110km like the Auckland to Cambridge new highways? Thanks

Are you guys still aiming for Mid May as the completion date? That's getting pretty close.

Yes, more like closer to May 2023. Looking at the construction progress, it’s unlikely to be this year. Maybe for the Christmas holidays hopefully.

What will the final road surface be? It looks like they’re using bitumen then a suspicious grey finish on top… here’s hoping it’s not chipseal

Probably because the end of the motorway (north) is currently Puhoi, which this is an extension of?

"Puhoi to Warkworth" is the name of the project, I don't think the title is meant to give the direction lol
