One that stuck with me was this man who walked four hours thru the desert to get to America and when they were about to be in the clear there was a lady who gave up and said she was going to get the attention of border patrol. Naw this shi is real. Im haitian american n i was born in florida. Wen i went to visit family in haiti i really couldnt leave without protection cause ppl from the us is a meal ticket to kidnap or abduct for ransom. The first couple of trips there i thought it wasnt bad but when i was a teenager at a haitina church in florida a man who grew up n lived in haiti his whole life when back to visit family. They abducted him until the church had to donate amd come up with ransom money to free him n bring him back. Eventually we did raise enough money in time but when he came back he showed us his body at chuch until he was normal again n they basically tortured him each day by putting water on his body with a hot iron with steam pressing against his body. He still aint the same n still sometimes feels as if they are still presssing it against sometimes cause he'll jump a lil while sitting still as if hes being touched and held down n the cool burning feeling he still gets even tho no one was near him or touching him.
