I agree we dont need eveeything ! in fact i feel im somewhat "done" with my collection in the sense that these will forever be my favoueites. but if something new comes along that i sample it can join. I have a large collection myself. I started out collecting everything, and now I am in the process of narrowing down to my favorites 😍 I have duplicate DNAs that I love, however, I am getting to the point I can single out my favorites and not repeat buy the lesser loves. My favorite houses are Swiss Arabian, Khadlaj, Al Haramain, Orientica Luxury, Riiffs, Arabiyat Prestige, Lattafa Emerati Niche and some Pride scents, Rasasi, and Ahmed Al Maghribi. 😊❤ These seem to be my go-to faves 😊 Thank you, great review, Simin 👍 Blessings

Hi Simin. I always try not to be tempted and, unfortunately ❤, I often fail😂. And definitely storage space is the factor which stops me from buying everything. But I must admit, there were times in my life, especially in my youth, I couldn't afford anything more than deodorant. And now, in my 50s, I feel like a child in a toy shop😂. My toys are my perfumes😂. I own waaay to many (over 600 bottles, a loooot of them from Arabian brands), I know. But scents are my therapy and my antidepressants, helping me fight with burnout. For me it works❤❤❤

Sometimes I get the oils for the bottles just to display because they are so stunning. -- Appletini was an absolute going with the gut purchase for me. I saw it go live online and bought it before I had a chance to even think, but I am so glad I did! I've been on the fence about Moscow Mule, maybe I'll grab a decant to try first. I don't think I need Cognac as I have a few other fragrances in the same scent family. -- I've just started getting into the musk fragrances - baby steps for me with So Poudree. The amber musk sounds like it might be something I enjoy. ♥

I recently have been drawn to musk fragrances thanks to Khadlaj. I was sop scared of it before for being too animalic and skin like. Since then ive learnt exactly which musk I dont like. Hello, gorgeous girl. Yes, I have 3 fragrance influencers whose opinions will sway me towards or away from a perfume. That's because I'm new to collecting. But the more I learn, the more I understand what I like and what doesn't interest me. I no longer rush right out to purchase something that you or any other influencer talk about. I now take my time and do a lot of research. I have to tell you about my newest obsession. A couple of months ago I bought Rhagba Wood Intense. The notes were so interesting and it was inexpensive. Not being familiar with our at the time, I really struggled with it. But I put it in a closet and left it to settle and mature. Simmie, I took it out a couple of days ago to empty the straw and was blown away with how it had blended and matured! That caramel and sugar in top of the strong, woody notes are just fantastic. The oud has really blended with the other notes and I now understand why oud is so loved! I think it needs a few more weeks before I'll wear it but I can't wait for the coldest weather to arrive! I hope Oud Mood matures as beautifully because right now, it's too screechy for me. I have 4!!!! AS dupes and not on purpose. I don't think I need another one. I'm selling By the Fireside currently. I had Cognac on my wishlist but I can delete it. Be well, sweet friend. My love always.❤

So I was barely using it. It was the most comforting scent. The same vibe I get from Ameer Al Oudh. But I ultimately decluttered it coz it was just catching dust. But it was so inexpensive yet smelled so sophisticated I remember. Hahaha I know right? AS dupes/ inspirations still around. While I love the DNA, I just dont want so many similar smelling perfume. It's definitely Autumn now here in Scotland - I'm knitting a shawl as I watch this! We had an unusually warm start to October though - went to our Aurora concert just wearing a silk dress (she was fabulous, hope you get a chance to see her live sometime) Your scarf and jewellery today are really beautiful 🥰
I had visited Scotland in 2019 and found it to be the nicest place to be. The people are so warm and friendly. I think it was September 2019. And I know I will be visiting again for sure and explore more. Coz we were such tourist last time around lol. I am soooooooo in awe of Aurora. I absolutely love her and her music. Hey, my lovely angel, what a wonderful video. You look stunningly beautiful. I love the tiny hint of silver in your hair as it brings out your eyes and looks so beautiful, it really does. You look young, never old 🌺🌸. I love how you spoke about not needing to buy every perfume or so many perfumes, the way some of us react and get FoMO. I think I was lucky that my 2 perfume cupboards ( one is huge) were overflowing with perfumes and this made me realize ( after I took out all the new ME perfumes I purchased) just how many perfumes I had been buying and then made me come to the decision to put the brakes on. I have bought ( as you know 😅) a couple after I pulled the brakes but am really now saying " No more" until I have used up or made space and have worn all of them. I think I will declutter 3 to 5 perfumes as they have not yet matured the way I was hoping but the rest are all loved or liked a lot. Having said this though there may be one or 2 I will see and perhaps ( on your advise 😍) buy them at a later date but for now I am so happy with what I own. But I think it is wonderful that you talked about this and once again kudos to your honest kindness. I realize I do love jasmine and orange blossoms so much in perfumes which you and I have in common. And of course we love the noir perfumes or the ones with a mystery to them. I wish you such a lovely time at the Beauty World Exhibition. I feel the same way about large crowds, strangely enough , only since I became ill with Fibromyalgia as before I was happy to go to stadiums, be in a huge concert crowd and mingle, but not now. I love that you have finally taken a step back from buying perfumes and feel more content with what you have (the occasional slip-ups are ok lol 😅). I have load of silver hair and to be honest I have always been very conscious of them. Due to the recent health mess, I could not take care of myself like I usually do. But I need to fix that before the Beauty World Visit lol. Oh yes, you and I both love Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Dark Noir Vampy fragrances. And both are not very fond of ultra fruity ones. You have no idea how nervous I am about the Beauty World Visit, mostly because I would love to cover a lot of it so everyone on my channel can get a glimpse of what happens. But it is so tough to move around in the crowds when every fibre of your being is against it lol. But I will try my best 😅 Tassy really fluctuates with temperature eh? 10 degrees is very cold.
