How to ask Why in Arabic. If you have any questions please comment or send me a message with the question and i will answer as soon as possible! Thanx to Jacobo Hijazin for the Music :)
That is one thing that arabic and spanish have in common. In spanish, "por qué" means "why", and it results from combining two words: "por" (which means "for") and "qué" (which means "what"). Greetings from Mexico.
I am sooo very glad that i found your lessons on youtube! you speaking in arabic and giving examples is veryyy helpful for me. i have been tryin to learn arabic for a few weeks now.shukran! anta lateefa! :)

@papasitoman your comment remind me something. Do you know why X is used as unknown in Algebra . Arab mathematicians used to use the word شيء(shey'). They use to use the first letter only of this word (to be quicker), the first letter as you know it (thanks Maha) is šīn. When the books were translated in Spanish, they use the same letter in Spanish , and it was X at this time. Mexican still use the letter as before (they build and X building at the Barcelona expo ).
@hauntedmille:This is Classical Arabic if you prefer it is very formal;) @anaalhena: "Leish or (lei)" is Syrian Arabic spoken in Palestin and Lebanon. @hauntedmille: Egyptian Arabic is very specifique nothing to compare with other Arabic dialect in the gramatical structure and prononciation, for example they don't prononce "QAF" they ommit it on purpose thus it's sounds very charming, let's say for ex, ORANGE it's bouraQal, well Egyptians say bourta'al or the Moon, Qamar>> 'amar...and moreover
i find it interesting that in spanish why (porque) is also translated into literally "for what", its good to see that once you break it down its easier to make connections between two different languages
do you think that you can make a video where you're speaking for about 2 minutes or so in slower than normal standard Arabic, conversational with the translation in arabic text? That would be great! A simple conversation with a few different verbs? :)
@Langlover1000 no we actually try to use our left hand as less as possible because we tend to use our left hand only for bathroom purposes, we also hate drinking and eating with our left its much better with right, its mostly due to our religion and culture
@anaalhena liesh, is Arabic slang languge word used in Iraq, syria and some Arab gulf slang languages,Historically its considered as a new slang word, But the correct word in classical is Lemada (why).
@fiorellart we have also gato factura sala pantalon camisa and a lot of words that i not in my mind ahorita i'm arabic ad English speaker and now i'm interested in Spanish
Hi Maha Could you tell me which is more common; pronouncing the TH as MATH or the TH as simply a T? I speak Spanish and in Spain the Z is pronounced as an ´s´ or a ´th´ sound but not in Mexico for example. Is that the same thing? It just depends on the country? So Ithnaan can be said as ITHNaan or ITnaan? I see you pronounce the TH as a T for example. Shukrn!
Hello, Maha. I have a question for you and in case you`ve mentioned the answer for my question in one of your videos I`m sorry for disturbing you, but i didn`t find it. I would like to know which is the word order in arabic. I`ve heard that the verb comes first but what comes after I don`t know. Thank you.
in Hebrew it's "Lama?" or "Lema?" ... Lama means Why and Lema means For What Le means For (like Li in arabic) and Ma means What the 2 word are written in the same way: למה?
@elishadable 'wa' or 'wa caman' . So ana ga3an, 3tchan, Wa 3aize anam. (I don't really know how to write arabic in english but i hope you get the point.
not slang, one is the classic arabic, the other one is the dialect, u know every arab country has its own dialect, a bit different from the classic arabic she's teaching :)
...i would have asked matha/limatha to that arab dude that was so angry with someone at his cellphone lol, i would have paid to understand what he was talking about, and the insults he said lol loll
Yeah Maha could be Muslim and she could be Christian but what is the fuss about..! She is a BonaFide Palestinian Woman . Free to do whatever she wants...
