Appreciate your good sense and fair judgement of the whole conflict. The government's lack of commitment/action towards stopping the conflict only shows that they let it happen under their watchful gaze. They benefitted from the conflict, Arambai Tenggol gained more power and finance from the conflict. Similarly, Kuki militants regained control over their territories. At the end of the day, the innocent people on both sides suffer, while the stakeholders of war get the benefit from more conflict.
