Animation is a tiresome, repetitive and tedious work. Its hard to animate. Yet the general audience refuse to give them any credit cause, "its only for kids" This must change.

Happy to share this videos with my kids...when we were kids our grandma used to narrate these kinds of stories (aranapuranam, kanditund)..now we almost forget it or don't have time for storytelling...hats off to the team..especially the storyteller (Appooppan)

I absolutely loved the animation style from the very first moment and the fun, joyful style. Their are many nuanced details that made me smile; from God leaning forward to Grandpa removing the clouds with hands, from people's reaction to grandpa's indirect interaction with God.

It was my sister who introduced 'Kandittund! ' short film to me and from then onwards I fell in love with the way this 'Appoopan' narrates the stories. The concept, the animation, the narration, altogether marvellous in every aspect. Waiting for more of this kind!! ❤

RU-vid suggested me "Kandittund". After watching that, I instantly became a fan.Now I Loved this as well. But I would say "Kandittund" was the master piece. I am Marathi so I don't know which language this is. But I see this video everyday atleast once because it is very entertaining. The expressions and very subtle reactions of dayivam, the eye opening of arana in the end credits and many such details. Creative talent is absolutely fantastic

My uncle used to narrate incidents and stories just like this Appooppan. He used to skip the names of characters and you have to make an intelligent guess to get into the loop. But because he narrates these stories in an absorbing way you don't feel like interrupting him. But you get filled in when the story proceeds. Great way of narration. His mature mellow voice is so very endearing.
