My favorite ridge traverse I've done so far. Highly recommend! #colorado #mountains

Awesome day indeed. Congrats on getting N Arapaho. That area is my favorite front range spot too. You will enjoy the summits of Neva and Jasper in your next time up

Great video! Was just at lake Dorothy on Saturday and on south Arapaho/old baldy on Sunday. Love the area.

Your 4k video is looking great. South Arapaho peak is plenty for a day hike by itself for most people. You on the other hand...

10:17 I've camped on both sides of the pass, but never been up to the lake or that ridge. Very cool.

8:37 This is where I always lose the trail in the mud and the water. 😁😁

16:19 - Parking lot doesn't look too full. Last time I was there I had to wait 30min for a spot to free up.

I finished around 6pm so a lot of dayhikers were already gone. Still long lines of parked cars going down the road. Definitely a motivation for me getting up there the night before, with how busy it is

Had to bail on North Arapahoe Peak last year due to weather. So much motivation to get back up and complete the traverse. What an amazing area! Thank you for sharing your hike 🙌🏻 and all those amazing views

7:03 do you ever wear the helmet when it’s real rocky hiking or do you just use it for climbing?
@montaneist

If I don't have to use my hands at all I'm probably not using the helmet. I actually didn't use it at all on this trip, since the rock felt solid the whole way and I never felt in danger of other hikers knocking down rocks. With more people I'll put it on
