Ararat, the sacred mountain of Armenia, takes you without detours to the borders of Europe and the Middle East. Twelve musicians and singers, of Armenian, Turkish, Kurdish, Afghan, Algerian and French origins, brilliantly revive intercultural dialogue. Canticum Novum has decided to create an original program, which highlights an intercultural dialogue between France and Armenia. This close relationship was established a long time ago, as early as 1252, when Léon II de Lusignan, from a large French noble family, was named king of Cyprus, Jerusalem and Armenia. The influence of this family will continue, with more or less intensity until 1375, and the end of the kingdom of Armenia.
