Aravalli was formed 1800 million years ago, not 400 Mya. They were formed sure to plate tectonics yes, but much older history, when India collided with the super continent Columbia.
Aravali were formed by the collision of dharwar plate and Marwar plate which happened more than 1000 mya compared to Himalaya. They were already present when India was part of Gondwana.
@@MapItwithKartikeya formation of Aravalli.. The mode of formation of Aravalli and Himalaya are the same. Apart from that, Himalaya has nothing to do with Aravalli. Aravalli was formed in Neo-Proterozoic while Himalaya was formed in Cenozoic, hundreds of millions of years later..
@@neeleshvsaran Ooh.. okay. I didn't watch till there since the beginning was wrong. In the beginning it's said that during Indo-Eurasean plate collision the first pressure was experienced in the south and Aravalli was formed. Which is completely wrong. Aravalli was there even before indian plate got separated from Gondwana. According to the video Aravalli was formed when the plates were about to collide and it took another 400 million years to form Himalayas which does not make sense at all. And how in the world indian plate will experience a 'first pressure' in NW-SE direction when it's moving towards NNE.
