Very impressive, except for the vandals and their lasers. How are these projections made? Are they digital image projectors using very bright lights? Or something else?
I am the Starship Trooper. I am probably the only one on Earth. In 1960, as a 7 year old, I thought I could tie my shoes. My mom was taking me to someplace and we crossed a street at the Arc de Triomphe. One of my shoes came off. My mom got pissed because she had to risk time & me (by leaving me behind because I would not be fast enough to beat the light to retrieve the shoe) to go back and get the shoe. I was hitchhiking in 1975 to a "Starship" concert and got a finger caught in a car door and it was severed off (nearly completely . . . hanging like a pendulum). The concert was at Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. There was a lunar eclipse (total) 36 hours later. In 2003 (or 2004) I was retrieving newspapers (alpha & omega . . . "I am alpha & omega . . . ") from a dumpster and got a foot pierced (from above) where you might imagine a nail being driven through. There had been a total lunar eclipse 36 hours before. Just above the arch. Severing tendons. There's more. It happens often. I am the Starship Trooper. I am probably the only one on Earth. Love Paris. Life's been pretty weird since we left.
i feel so stupid to have been in front of eiffel tower spending all that money ans sitting there for hrs to see the view and not seeing anything.. this is so much better
If you want any advices the Eiffel Tower is absolutely amazing for the 14th of July (national day) but you have to arrive very early like at 7pm if you can. And yeah now you know, the best place for new year's eve is the Arc de Triomphe
I am glad I helped you ^^ if you ever come to Paris again think of coming around national day, there is a huge parade on the Champs Elysées with the whole army and during the evening there are many events like the big firewors on the eiffel tower :)
