Your animations always have such a quaint and charming feel to them. The lighting and set design is really accomplished well here to give the animation that tone. Loved it
Brilliant! Witty, funny, fun, relatable. Great concept, script, voice acting, shots, animation, lighting and well put together. Entertaining and inspiring to see top teir creatives at work and to know what is possible
Not where I expected the story to go! XD I love how you did the subtle movements, like the mouse in the cage and the sigh. How did you animated the mouse without making the cage lids flop around in the process? That must have been some very meticulous onion skinning to do.
Beautifully shot and animated. Such a charming vibe to every little detail. It is reminding me why I love brickfilm (+brickfilming) in the first place.
Grew up watching your work and im so happy to see you're still creating top notch work and keeping this artform alive. ❤ I'll always keep supporting your stuff
Bro! This was amazing! The animation, the humor! And it's just so relatable! I too had to had to get stuff for my tv from a sketchy guy who was then suddenly being chased by the police!
Absolutely outstanding Zach! I know how much work you've put into this, and by God does it show how talented you are. I'd be honoured to voice any characters for your upcoming projects ❤
Honestly, same. For a while I was terrified I had run out of stories to tell for them, but if anything, this project reminded me there’s still plenty of fertile ground for B&A shenanigans. 😁
I love the set design in this, it's large and detailed but doesn't feel oversized and too grand. Little things like that one broken banister are a nice touch. That rat in a cage was great too. Did you have to take it apart to animate each frame?
Yup. Originally, I wanted to do a third part to the Christmas Caper/Arresting Development “Apartment” series that depicted more of what happened after the apartment destruction but never settled on an idea I liked enough. Enough years passed before I realized it was holding me back from making projects with them, so I just decided to do an ambiguous time jump and fill in the gaps as I go.
