The day ARC's came with a plastic chassis is the day they were worth no more than $35 to me. Blows me away how far Diecasts have regressed over the last 20 years. I'll gladly take an ARC with no trunk, suspension movement OR roof flaps, IF it was a metal chassis. That weight makes all the difference in the world imo
2012 engines do have spark plug wires. They do look different from previous engines. Noticed that whole chassis swapping. Also elites from 2009-2010 lost the removable window net and the metal windshield braces for some reason. They started the black roll cage in late 2011
I remember buying a diecast really cheat at Walmart when they sold the 1:24 cars . But they should bring them back . But the elite nascars they are expensive now. then they were growing up .
ANY ONE OF US WHO BOUGHT THESE DIE CAST TOOK IT IN THE CAN, UNLESS IT WAS SIGNED AND YOU HAVE A C.O.A. FOR IT. FOR RACE FANS ONLY ON THE QVC NETWORK WITH DAN HUGHES THOSE DIE CAST CAME WITH A COA. THAT WAS A GREAT SHOW BUT SOME DINGBAT CANCELED IT. NON SIGNED CARS WON'T FETCH ALOT, BUT THE QVC AUTOGRAPHED CARS WILL, AND 1/64 ARE TOYS FOR CHILDREN. 1/24 SIGNED RETAIN THE MOST MONEY
"Made in China" Nuff' said. If these companies want to re-gain the respect and admiration they once held, maybe they should make them here, where stock car racing actually originates!
