Crochet Sandals With Flip Flop Soles
Tennis shoes and boots can be worn all year, regardless of where you live. Except if you live where your summer months are short, sandal season can be finished in a snap!.
That’s why you shouldn’t choose any sandals. Be creative & make your own crochet flip flop. Match any one of your summer outfits with the yarn you have in your stash.
During quarantine, you may have been fantasizing about where you’ll travel first and what you’ll wear. Making crochet sandals can be something to do while you think up your next vacation. While in the midst of summer, these crochet sandals should be on top of your to-do list.
I get asked, “Where did you buy those?”, all the time. These shoes are definitely a conversation starter. When you crochet shoes with soles, it can be annoying poking holes into your flip flops. I know you have seen tons of crochet flip flop patterns that make it look simple, well it’s not.
I’ve created a no-sew free crochet flip flop pattern that is a no-sew project. Crochet stitches are worked over the existing strap on the flip flop. With this technique, the weight of the sandal is being carried by the plastic strap, not the yarn.
The pattern will work on any women’s shoe. These are crochet flip flops for adults, this pattern won’t work on children’s shoes. But I’m sure I will come up with a similar pattern for kids in the future.
