Freddie Wong is Jackie Chen 2.0. Reminds me of the scene in one of the early Jackie Chen movies where he was fighting in a cruise arcade dressed up as Street Fighter 2 characters. The bearded guy reminded me of Zangief.

it does look like a spoof of all those combined.... fighting in tight spaces an exagerated reactions just like Jackie, powerups and specials as in SF.... I think that elbow hit was one of zangief's moves (and, that little 8-bit progression at the end, was it from light crusader? 0o)

The only common thing between Freddie and Jackie is that they are both Asian! Jackie Chan was a Million times better at fighting than Freddie. No comparison at all! But I am impressed with this video. It was well choreographed!

I hate the people that complain about the Infamous thing. Come on, you would have been totally ok with it if you hadn't seen the logo. What's the difference? They didn't compromise the quality of the video, in fact I think it's one of their best yet, but they probably made quite a bit more money which will allow them to keep making such awesome videos. Product placement is something that happens, whether you like it or not, and it is mutually beneficial to everyone.

This looks like it was inspired by jackie chan movies, i mean, the fight was completely "messed up", the way he used the environment to fight just before getting his powers, and even getting tired in the middle of the fight and asking the opponent to wait a second before continuing. I love jackie's movies, they're fun to watch, just like this video.

Jack Richards I'm not actually mad that this video exists or anything, but there's a lot of assumptions you're making here that are undoubtedly wrong. As somebody who has dealt with monetizing videos on RU-vid, I'd say this "RocketJump" channel undoubtedly makes several thousand dollars _per_ _new_ _video_, and that's not even counting all the existing videos that continue to generate money even though they're old. Quite a bit of that undoubtedly gets funneled back in to equipment and other fees for making new videos, but I don't think you should paint Freddie as a person who is barely scraping by on sponsorship deals like this. I'm sure he's plenty comfortable.

CSDragon Actually, even his Hong Kong films had a great degree of humor added to it, Police Story for example, Project A one of my Faves as well. Project A had a Double Chair Back Break moment between Jackie and his Opposite which they then stare down one another "Unfazed" before sliding out of sight to rub their backs against the wall in pain before returning to face off again and continue the fight...

I gotta say, post Brandon freddiew channel videos really, REALLY kinda suck balls. I think freddie was not down with the whole "Hey youtube changed their policy and now longer videos (10 to 20 mins) are worth more per viewership over time then just clicks" Which then lead to NODE and LAN Party. Where they are far less creative and just film themselves playing other people's creations for a living, Where freddie was like, "Fuck that guys! I wanna make creative all new videos and some day work in making real large budget movies. Problem is freddie without brandon videos seems pretty weak............YOU GUYS WERE A TEAM!! GET IT TOGETHER!
