@@andreslupone7076 One of the central themes of this song is a discussion of the ‘on demand’ digitization and homogenization of mid 2000s life. The peak online everything era. The time when we could finally get everything now, everywhere cheap. A year or two after this song we entered the era of the pandemic making this song quickly feel nostalgic. It was also not beloved and misunderstood by many when it came out. It is a complicated dark sarcastic song wrapped in this gospel pop vibe.

Love em, but they tried to get the " na na na na nanna na"' crowd didn't care. Wasn't a good album to tour. They aren't the Killers. Arcade fire try too hard. Band of horses are more talented then these try hards atm. New album will tell

Man the family lyrics really hit me in the feels. Damn. My father was in the military and gone a lot. Died from alcoholism, I can't imagine what he saw. RIP Lt Colonel father

😩😢 I’m in the Military and I’m away a lot . I too like a drink but not out of control. Me and my eldest love this album. The lyrics hit hard for both of us but I think we both get it and share the feels. Take it easy friend x

Your comment has made me cry ive lost a daugter and son from drink yr half apart their dad was no help he drank too but hes still here not happy he has sort of got his life together living with someone not drinking now i detest him havent spoken to him fot over 4oyrs i left the night he came un so drunk over 4oyrs ago and went to pee in my sons carrycot he thought it was the toillet
