I'm glad they make the other characters more involved in this game. Unlike the other games where you're pretty much doing most/all the work on your own.
In every Metal Slug series Allen O'Neil comes back to life I said to myself: "how many times I have to kill this guy no wonder why they call him The Immortal Devil Sergeant"
Sam ZXW Metal slug 4 is made in korea(back then, SNK's money ran out, so they sold the metal slug copyright to "Mega Enterprise" which is Korean company), so they tried something new, which is adding two new playable character, Trevor(he is Korean. basically.) and Nadia. And this guys are having a special melee attack. Trevor does high kick. when doing this, you can't move, so you could die at this moment(It's kinda sucks). And Nadia does electric buzzer attack. Well...this is all I know. I think there's nothing to fix though.
that is the whole game, upon close inspection nearly every boss' weapons are ripped straight out of the three previous games, then things like the inside of the boat were taken from ms3
The game's soundtrack as well as Metal Slug 5's music are done by Power Instinct alumni Toshikazu Tanaka, who would later go on to compose the soundtrack of other SNK games like Rage of the Dragons, Power Instinct Matrimelee, Metal Slug 3D and 7, and especially King of Fighters: Maximum Impact.
Metal Slug 4 is indeed underrated. It's the most fair, it has the best soundtrack of the series barring 5, and it performs much better than 1-3, especially 2. "BUT DURR!!! IT HAS BUTCHER PLOT AND REUSE SPRITE!!!" Shut the fuck up. All of these things I listed are more important than some simple, meaningless things in arcade gaming.
@@solarflare9078 Tbh its got the second weakest ost in the series for me, only above 7, and idk what you mean about it performing the best As for being fair, I'll take somewhat unfair over some bad pacing issues like the mummies
This sequel is good too, i like how the whole game follow up that guy whose briefcase is always stolen by you, only to find out that hes the last boss here.
I know I'm responding to a 2-year-old comment, but that P.O.W.'s name is Hyakutaro Ichimonji. He's been a special P.O.W. since Metal Slug 2, and is usually a bit hard to find!
ScHlAuChi is by far the best metaL Slug Player ive seen on this series must of took a lot of practise to get that good .. On a sidenote didnt really enjoy this one much although it stuck to a relatively cleean theme in terms of enemy types same as metal slug 1 ( none of this alien based shit they had in other games which for me kind of spoilt the series after metal slug x onward) 4 and five were my least favourite in the series.. if im honest 1 and 2 were my favourites.. metal slug 1 because the enemies were pure army themed and it kept it fresh and metal slug 2 because it was the easiest to complete in terms of not having to use loads of contines...
I loved the captured fella that you(ScHIAuChi) saved and was shooting hadoukens. Made my day! :D Is he a special call or can you just get him as one of the people you save(I got confused)?
Jesus Frias The ending is what seems kinda disappointing for me. I mean, the game starts off "Serious" with the 007 cutscene but, at the end everyone just eats to death.
Based on my experience, it's hard to get a "You're Great!" prisoner bonus in this Metal Slug game (nevertheless, it is not totally impossible to get such a bonus, if you can seek enough of them and survive the entire mission).
1:16 For the Seth McFarlane version of the game, the Fio character will be played by Multiverse Meg Griffin, Stan Smith will be Marco, and Gwen Ling will be Nadia. Trevor will be portrayed by Chris Griffin.
I like all of the games in the series but I don't like this one that much, because the characters roles look like secret agents but they are soilder not secret agents.
