Very easy answer to that. It wasn't Nintendo, it was Namco that made these arcade versions. That's why their characters are in the games.

Would love to see Diamond city as a track for newer mario kart games, there's so much stuff that they can show from the warioware series in the style of a wacky city

this game caused a bit of confusion about Diamond City's canonical location. It's still my favorite track in the game..How did you get the emu to use the saving card function?

I could play as Toad in this cup because, the city is great for him and Toadette (his girlfriend).

Requires the Wii be flashed with modded software and be compatible to play GCN games with a GCN controller. Basically if you are using the old style Wii that came with Wii Sports it's easy to do. You are looking for "Quadforce".

It's IMPOSSIBLE to go backwards by default. AKAIK certain "bonus" rounds challenge you to race backwards but you can't turn your kart around ever. You shouldn't ever need to as in the 150cc difficulty screwing up = game over.

I might be confusing the game with DS but racing backwards is not possible under any circumstances (maybe i'm wrong but see my prev post. It's not worth it anyway)
