Cool introduction :-) I have Arcade Time Capsule running for some days now, here I found the explanation why my ROM does not work. Guess it ist the wrong MD5 hash. But where to find the spreadsheet?
What would be a useful addition to the excel file would be to indicate which mame romset each rom comes from (0.139 or 0.139us1). I spent hours trying to gather them all together. I got a different MD5 value on galaga but it works fine. There may be multiple versions that work I suppose.
Yeah, that's why I was trying to say this is one example but not the end-all be all.. These are ones I tested and verified and works 100%. I've had MAME arcade setup for years with multiple ROM sources I got throughout the years so I didn't have a specific romset to reference since it was a mix and match from old sources.
I believe you need DS4windows for it to work properly. I haven't tried it myself since I play with a joystick but works native with any xinput controller like the xbox controllers
@@wmx99 I have DS4Windows, the controller works on the Arcade Time Capsule as a navigator but not as a game pad for Mame! I don't know what's wrong. The actual Mame outside the VR works flawless without any app like DS4windows they should had made it that way and not complicate things! 😣
@@wmx99 cheers appreciated 👍 I got it all working now and get what to do with tv video now. Is it possible to get the sound working from the tv or is it video only do you know just curious?
Hopefully that'll work in the next patch.. Some people were able to get it to work with MK1 I saw.. but not sure how they did it. I couldn't get it to work with any MK1 files I tried.
