I could screencapture every frame from Victor running scene and worthy of a masterpiece art. Starlit night sky, boats and lamps and Victor running across all of them for the first time in his life. Feels like a Van Gogh inspired art called "Viktor's Run"

Jinx has a passive "Get Excited" where she gets a huge mv speed boost when she scores a kill. Its a forgetable passive, really, but thats how shimmer manifest in her kit

Never got the creepy romantic thing from Silco. Which imo is a great departure from a lot of media where he would be a creepy rapey old man. I love how Silco is written.

"She is not dead" - depends on who you think is "She" - I think this is the point when Powder completely died :( It's a father-daughter relationship! (Jinx is clingy but there was never anything sexual between them) Also, he is manipulating her but he never abused her, never hit her, and accepts her completely ("Jinx is perfect") She is never afraid of him, not even afraid of Savika, because she knows Silco will protect her. (which he already did many times, when she messed up things, after the boat incident he asked her, what happened in her point of view). I really love the Silco - Jinx relationship. They announced Season 2, it will stay in this location (maybe during will bring Noxus to the mix)

When Vi says a monster showed up and I ran away, im pretty sure she means Powder was the monster. She knows that the monster (jinx) wouldn’t still exist if she had stayed with her.

So, the basic concept of Noxus is "strength above all". But this isn't only physical strength. Strength in their view can come in several ways, depending on the individual. They mostly define it in three pillars: Might, Vision and Guile. You can see this in Mel's mom, who is not only a powerful warrior but also knowledgeable (referencing random military history) and manipulative. Hence, "I will give you the world IF you show you can take it". If you have the will and power to take something in Noxus, then you deserve it as yours.

The scene of Jinx/Powder being drugged with shimmer and all that, made me cry so hard dude, it's just so damn brutal

I have to admit I really miss judged Silco. I thought he was mostly using Jinx, but he really loves her. He is still really fucked up and I don't think anyone would want that love besides other psychos. He made her mental problems worse and keeps telling her she is perfect as a heartless killing machine. But it's a way more interesting relationship than I was expecting.

Another amazing episode. The incident with Viktor was so sad. On the flip side seeing the battle at the end. The use of the music, the dark scene with flashes of neon colors.... That contrast was so good! The animation was straight fire. Those shimmer assassin/tanks reminded so much of Big Daddies from BioShock

How do you get the "love" thing about Silco and Jinx? I mean, I have not seen them do anything inappropriate or weird and it's very clear that he raised her and appreciate her (spe cially if you go back and look at his office). They are father and daughter.

So listen to my theory.... Swain is already in Arcane. In Arcane we can see that there are always crows watching. And in the final scene of act 2, when the gem hits the floor, the camera focused the gem and then a crown, before this episode my theory was meh, maybe. But now, listen to Mel's mother. Your brother is dead, he betrayed the wrong man. In Swain history. He is betrayed for someone with power.. (Like the Medarda Family).. and in the history, swain is seeking revenge. So... my theory pass from maybe to.. Holy shit possibly, but again.. is a theory

Noxus has always been a warring nation. Darius, Katarina, Draven, and Talon are some of the known warriors/assassins of Noxus. While Mordekaiser, Swain, LeBlanc, Vladimir, and Cassiopeia are some of the political characters in Noxus.

Noxus as an empire is looked at as a brutal one, but when you looked beyond that they are actually one of the most inclusive empires and they very much value strength and talent. No matter who you are or where you came from, you can potentially rise to a high position in Noxus. Noxus is led by a trio, each with their own strengths, there is Vision (Swain), Might (Darius) and Guile (the faceless, whose identity is yet unknown, minor rumours are it might be Leblanc, but knowing riot it could also be someone entirely different). Other champions from this region are people like Draven, Katarina & Samira.

I still can't wrap my head around why some people think Jinx and Silco's relationship is anything more than a father-daughter one. It's even said by Sevika and Silco refers to her as his daughter as well. The only blurred line there could be is strictly on Jinx's part. She's mentally not all there, and she doesn't know how to express herself properly due to past trauma.

Silco and Jinx is a 100% just father daughter relationship. I see some people think it might be something else but it's nothing "more" than that.

Snippets on Ep8: Noxus is the most brutal empire in Runeterra. I have a feeling that it was Darius who killed Mel’s brother. Jayce’s weapon is called Mercury hammer/cannon and it can do melee and range attacks. We also see him do two of his LOL skills, the lightning field at 32:40 and at 33:09 Jayce uses his Shock Blast. We also saw Vi did his Vault Breaker skill at 31:49.

Honestly, Jinx definitely have broken mindset since It's hard to know what She gonna do but Vi surely have very Unstable Mintality 🗿🗿🗿 Jayce also very twisted and only using Force, I means forcefully taking someone from Gaun can cause War faster and even if They can win against Them, It isn't like It will be one sided because even though They can win against Minion 👀👀 It wasn't the same as few individual 🗿🗿

The lore of the games is actually also pretty bleak (potential spoilers ahead for future seasons, but also lots of lore to fill in the history of Runeterra. So, don't read if you mind). The voices that you hear from the Hexcore is actually from the Watchers in the Void. Their magic corrupts everything it touches. A long time ago in the lore, Lissandra of the Ice-born from the northernmost country in the continent was corrupted by the Watchers, they promised her power in return for a place to stay. She had no idea the Watchers intended to destroy the whole planet, so when she let them in and finally realised what was coming, she chose to use her powers to freeze over the Watchers that had made it through and the rift under ice, sacrificing her sisters and her people in the process. By the way, of her sisters, one loss her voice trying to command the skies and the other was deafened by the emptiness waiting to consume all of creation, so yeah, pretty dark stuff. The reason why Heimmerdinger, Piltover and the other nation of Demacia is so against the use of magic is because of the Rune wars. So the magic in Runeterra comes either from the Watchers or the Celestials. The Celestials were the ones who created Runeterra and they intended for the mortals of the world to be their warriors against the Watchers. They also left behind World Runes which are great sources of magic. This was meant to help the people but they ended up fighting each other to gain possession over these World Runes. It is during these wars that the Blessed Isles was destroyed and became the Shadow Isles filled with wraiths. Also, Noxus at one point came close to conquering the entire continent and they kinda destroyed many smaller nations. Noxus is actually an expansionistic empire with multiple warlords (if I remember correctly, correct me if I'm wrong), so the person who killed Mel's brother might not be from another country but another Noxian. There are many countries in Runeterra, each rich with lore, so I have a feeling they might not all fit into Arcane. Perhaps there will be more spin-off series if Arcane does well enough.

League lore. Maybe spoilers for season 2: In the lore, we know that Noxus loses a war against Ionia shortly after Arcane takes place on the timeline. So that is probably who they're afraid of. Off the top of my head, the champions I know from Noxus are: Darius, Draven, Katarina, LeBlanc, Swain, and Riven. Most of whom wouldn't have risen to their position in current league lore yet, at the time of Arcane. I would love to see origin stories for some of them.

Nothing says “begone thot” like disintegration. Also, Noxus: Strength Above All. The conquering empire hellbent on world domination. The crows are the emperors eyes. An emperor who has sold his soul to a demon for knowledge and power. Noxus always means war is imminent.
