Rhaast is actually one of the strongest darkins according to the evidence we got in LoR, he is almost(if not) on par with Aatrox if he consumes Kayn. So that means Kayn is one of the most strong-willed people in runeterra because he is the only one that resisted the Darkin corruption for so much time.
@@El_Tutel They probably only call him weak, because his artwork makes him look so small and basic, I bet his use of blood magic is crazy though and with shadow magic, rhaast must be an even harder foe for aatrox
There used to be 5 darkins left as we knew. Aatrox, Rhaast, Varus, Valeeva(Varus’ sister) and Xolaani. Now we have tons thanks to LoR. Also Darkin Naafiri is coming to league this year.
The '5 Darkins thing' was back when Darkin were still aliens, not fallen ascended. In short: That part of the lore simply got retconned long time ago and probably for the better.
That part of the lore was retcon originally the darkin where sorta meant to be runteras version of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse(though I could be wrong about the horsemen part). Also that particular voice line is meant to talk about varus being three people in one 😅
His legendary skin Odyssey Kayn has so much more interactions, especially fun ones when they take over each other and how sad they are. You can check it out its great
Most of Kayn and Rhaast interaction is on move/long move which is not feautred in the champion interactions, but thats when they roast and trashtalk each other the most. The Odyssey Kayn skin is even better at that, their voicelines are just hilarious. And somewhat connected, the funniest lines in game are probably Aatrox roasting Rhaast and Varus. Totally worth checking it out.
The darkin form is usually the most used, its better in most metas and even most scenarios when taking into account your team comp as well as enemy comps
The form that's used more often depends not only on the matchup but there's usually one of them that is stronger in the current meta, in my experience usually Red, but sometimes it's Blue
rhaast is been the perma pick for a while, while blue has been kinda neglected and is much more a niche pick into an entire squishy team while rhaast is a more general pick, although blue form is getting buffs soon
33;20 they could show that hexgems are harvested in shurima since they are. and therefore show some acended god warriors.which later became the darkin. but they have to tie it in the right timeline, with all the events they showcasing in the season. i mean the darkin era was houndreds of years, before the events in arcane, so they could technically pull off showing roaming darkin. anywhere in runterra, since for example aatrox roams all over the place and brings destruction everywhere.
the darkin used to be representing horsemen of apocalypse (war, death, pestilence), and there are only five darkin left. Then, a big retcon making there are possibly more than 5 darkin that's why rhaast himself wasn't sure because he doesn't knos how many of his kin is still alive. The only darkin champ in league are aatrox, rhaast, and varus, but there will be a new darkin champion named naafiri i assume she will come on april or may.
oh if you want a darkin retcon timeline : aatrox release, darkin are mysterious being, rhaast release, varus now is a darkin, darkin became sentient weapons, varus lore retcon, darkin now are aliens, aatrox rework, darkin now are former ascended, tbd (what will naafiri have in store for us?)
It's probably not enough to warrant its own video, but some characters like Teemo have alternate skins that get their own voice lines. Omega Squad Teemo would be one of the first ones I'd recommend from the list.

50:00 when he sais there are 4 i think. its refering to when riot first released aatrox the first darkin, they originally said there are only 5 darkin existing. but over time they kinda redcond it by saying, there are only 5 darkin that people accually know about.or atleast which ever cxame in contact with human so thats why rhaast sais i think,also the 3 of us eh 5 of us. refers to only 3 of the darkin being accually ingame, and to this point when the video came out only these 3 darkin where known about and released in lore. so thats why he sais 3 eh 5 because 2 of them were still unknown. nowadays we know about sometthing like 20 darkin tho due to the LOR game
To be honest, as far as I know, the Darkin _always_ wins in the end. The switching between Kayne and Rhaast is - debatably - canon, in the sense that it is possible as that is essentially the situation Varus is in. Varus is constantly switching between mortal and Darkin control, so it does stand to reason that Kayne and Rhaast can switch back and forth, _but..._ Here is the thing though, Darkin are immortal and their hosts are not. Aatrox, Varus, and Rhaast are the weapons, not the bodies wielding them. So, even if a mortal will can suppress them, those bodies will eventually die and the Darkin are not something you can casually kill. There is a reason they are imprisoned instead of executed, which isn't to say they can't be killed. Rather, killing a Darkin is a titanic struggle that makes Kayne's little story sound like a joke. Darkin are Void corrupted Ascended that were imprisoned by Targonian Aspects, so in terms of power they are something like fourth or fifth on the list. Unaided humans don't even make it _on_ that list. Roughly, it goes: 1) Celestial Dragons (A. Sol) 2) Targonian Aspects 3) Shuriman Ascended 4) Demons 5) Darkin These aren't things that _die._ So Kayne winning against Rhaast is almost certainly temporary, but so long as Rhaast has Kayne as his host, I wouldn't say Kayne is totally dead either. It is just that, eventually, Kayne will pass and Rhasst will continue on.
A few of these lines are outdated. It still shows Aatrox before rework. Aatrox rework was when they tied Darkin to Shurima ascended. Before that the Darkin where supposed to be Runeteras version of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. (At least that’s what they seem to imply I could be wrong)
Okay, so answer to your question about transformation in lore is no, in currents timeline he doesn't transformed yet, he is like in game start version. Also if he will transform to Shadow Assassin or Rhaast the other one will be gone permanently.
there are so many darkins . kayn have released 5 or 6 years ago so its old . the darkin lore has been changed . all darkins name : xolaani ( aatroxs enemy) varus rhaast valeeva(varuss sister) . the darkins in the aatrox's darkin army : taarosh, horazi , joraal, anaakca , styraatu , praa , ibaaros. also there is one other darkin and hes name is cebotaru . in the future the darkin will be released : naafiri
At first riot said there are 5 darkins in the world, afterwards they redconed darkin lore when aatrox was reworked, and now there is more, in league there are 3 currently with one more coming, its Rhaast, Varus, AAtrox, and upcoming champ, thanks to Legends of runeterra we found out about Xolaani, who is healer, mybe she is new champion, and others like tharosh, naganeka, etc...
in old lore darkins were aliens from other world, and thats why there were only 5 of them, but now since they are fallen god warriors their numbers are unknown mybe like 15 or even more noone knows yet but since Legends of Runeterra is expanding darkin lore rn we will soon know more
About Arcane, Riot already confirmed that future seasons will expand away from Piltover & Zaun (with season 2 probably giving us more info about Noxus).

I love your videos but if I may comment on your thought of Kayn running off and betraying zed. There is another story of him you did not read on the league website. It goes in detail about how he got the scythe and zed sent him to do so. I recommend reading it. *also there are 5 darkin I believe however we only know of 3 atm. In a few months a darkin event will be showcased and the 4th darkin will be revealed. It is confirmed to be a female.
I'd definitely suggest Kled if you want Yordles, he's generally considered to be one of the goofiest champions in League, and his interactions are hilarious.
"aatrox is stronger" In terms of maintaining battle aatrox can fight forever because he has no mana, but rhaast have mana but he can be immortal too due to his healing but rhaast will loose due to running out of mana.
React to Noxus will Rise from Shambits Gaming I think Kayne managed to revert part of the darkin influence on his arm once. They're really short, one was made as a Prologue to his music video and the other as the epilogue
I've said this before, but please read the comics made by Marvel. Riot has them up for free, and since you're already reading on Kayn, "Zed" is a good one to start on
I think you should react to the Riot x Marvel comics about Zed, Shen, Kayn and Jhin. There is a lot of information in these 6 issues. You'll find them on the Universe page in the comics tab. There is also a comic about Garen, Lux and Sylas (5 issues) and one about Ashe (4 issues).
