The One thing I love about Pantheon's view in "The Call" Is that he a Mortal man, no powers of a god, nothing. Ascended a Terrible Mountain as a Man. Fought the Guardians of the Portal as a Man, And fought the Aspect of the Sun, Leona; As a Man. Only to tank a Comet and fall from a Mountain AS A MAN. And survived. And when he looked upon a broken battlefield he was refueled with purpose did he ascend to the skies. Pantheon is The Man, The Gigachad of LoL. Fight me.
By the way when you were reading the story and you said "so he's just fighting some basic creature" he was ABSOLUTELY fighting someone, or rather something, very very important, he was fighting the ultimate Shurima villain, the one who made the whole empire fall and, as a result, creating the Darkins, Xerath
Because of Pantheons rework his old skins got a new versions too. Splasharts were done not so long ago so it's not that easy to recognize which one is old.
Camphor, as its name suggests, is a demon of doubt. Pantheon and his followers' story in LoR follows them preparing to battle it. LoR often does cool little stories like that and tells them through art, interactions and flavor texts of the cards.
29:08 you can see at the bottom right of the Splash Arts how old the skins are, thats also for the originals because there is the release date for the champion.
"I've never heard of Iula before" you just read about her in the bio hahaha Not sure if you also realized that the enemy in the story where a woman sacrifices herself was Xerath when you read it in the wiki
55:05 there are there are 6 Aspects we know of (there are more but 6 are known). Pantheon,Aspect of war; Taric,Aspect of the Guardian; Zoe,Aspect of Twilight;Diana,Aspect of the Moon; Leona,Aspect of the Sun; Kayle&Morgana's Mother was the Last Aspect of Justice, when she died Kayle & Morgana got half the power each but Morgana relinquished them so now Kayle is the Aspect of Justice.
Every champ who got a card in Legends of runeterra has a story "usually a new storyline" with his followers , in LOR we learned that campfore is a demon around targon that feeds on the doughts of people in the area and aatrox and his clan are trying to kill her
After Atreus severed Aatroxes sword arm (which btw mostly only happened due to the element of surprise, since Aatrox didnt expect Atreus to still have celestial powers), Aatrox grew a chitinous armored gauntlet later on - so he learned from his defeat There are a lot of smaller stories in LoR, hidden in card art, voicelines and card texts, all have a sequence (but some cards are what-if scenarios and not cannon) - they are also hard to find if you dont actually look for them when the new patch drops , Camphor is one of many lesser demons, there are a lot of lesser demons, all of which are still very powerful, but pale in comparison to the real deals. Yuumi, isnt actually a cat, she is a Fae that looks like a cat, thats why she can talk. Taric is the aspect of the protector, so there is very little left of himself and is mostly just the aspect now - he is usually referred to as one of the better natured gods who actually care about normal people, but Atreus has his prejudices. You already reacted to the interactions between him and Aatrox when you did Aatrox pt 3, thats why they werent in this video Aatrox is arguably the best character in Runeterra, so he is my preference, and imo Aatrox would for sure beat him in the 3rd 1v1, as Atreus only won the second encounter due to the element of surprise, Aatrox is much stronger - as he already beat one of the most combat effective aspects - War (tho Zoe/Twilight might still be more powerful, depends)
oh forgot to add, in Runeterra there are very few things that are just evil or just good - its usually somewhere in between, but with that said, the Solari (Leona) are generally leaning towards evil a bit more while the Lunari (Diana) are leaning towards good a bit more (all based on my personal opinion, yours may differ), which is why you will see Leona and her followers as the antagonists of many stories that happen in Targon. But Leona is far from evil.
Surprise or not. In lore its stated that Aatrox slayed the Aspect of War Pantheon. It also states in Lore. That the Man. The Chad. Atreus defeated Aatrox. And since then he has not gotten him back
28:58 honestly pretty funny how your saying he isn't too old. If you look on the bottom right of the image it shows it was released 02.02.2010 which yea he's one of the oldest.
58:42 she is called Camphor the Doubt because like yone realized ALL demons even the lesser ones feed on Emotions so Camphor fed on Atreus childhood and him losing Pylas which is Loss and doubt EDIT: Camphor is a Legends of Runterra only Character for now but since there are many canon things in the game i would assume that this story is canon
yes its Xerath, its even confirmed later in the wiki section. but to be completely fair, it could also be any of Xeraths followers (seen in LoR) and not him personally, cos i dont think its said anywhere specifically that its him.
Awesome video as always, but the fact you didn't check out his theme is a huge missed opportunity. So please, going forward, if you're going back to some champions you already reacted to, please listen to their themes, but otherwise, awesome vid😉
