Silco looking up to the “hate us” part gives me chills

Honestly, I hope they release a full version of this more orchestral version of the song. The original is pretty good, but this one sounds more dynamic and epic.

This version of the song is incredible.

You know a series is good when there is character development in the FUCKING INTRO. Viktor runs and doesn't have to use his cane anymore. Jace takes up arms and Vi and Jinx are enemies by the end of the video, not the sisters we see as one statue at the start. Also, Silco is the first statue to move, and after that the poses of the other characters are more dynamic, hinting at his villainous influence on their actions.

Never played LoL in my entire life but absolutely loving the show so far. The atmosphere in the show and this opening gives me Dishonored vibe.

Piltover can't trust Zaun, Zaun can't trust Piltover, and I can't trust people who skip this opening.

Can we appreciate how even the TITLE SEQUENCE is suitably epic and dramatic? Elastic have also done title sequences for Game of Thrones, Daredevil, Westworld, True Detective, so it's no wonder this is quality

I love how Vander's holding them preciously in his hands, he's trying to protect them as best he can...bit Silco still looms in his past...

Love the moment where Vander holds and protects VI and Powder in his hands much bigger and then it zooms out and Silco's eye glows up and is again much bigger than Vander

0:52 is absolutely breathtaking. The small shot of the sister's fight is so chilling, Jinx with her gun and Vi's mechanic hands, it makes new fans wonder how they got to that point, considering how they treated each other in Act 1.

the shot of Ekko with the “Oh, the misery!” line will never not get me hyped

This is probably the only intro in Netflix that I will never get tired of seeing!

0:31 this scene gives me chills and the drop after is amazing

Love the fact that Viktor is one of the most prominent characters shown in the intro, especially the shot of his mechanical leg braces with him not holding his walking stick anymore (Spoilers on read more) Forshadowing his sinister turn.

As much as I hate the game, I absolutely love this series and hope they continue it/make others for a long time. The characters from the game are dope, and the lore is even better.

I love how each character represented in their statue forms man: Vi and Powder are geometrically cut as head busts as if they are just a test cuts and the final sculptures will be different. Jayce's initial appearance is almost final but needs smoothing out, highlighting his potential, then getting refined in the end. Viktor's statue carved out slowly in steps because he's a self made man in the every sense of the word. Caitlin's image, while stellar, it's surroundings hint her upbringings were very carefully planned since its earlier stages, a part of being a nobility perhaps. Heimer's shape's quite defined as he's been around for a while, but his pose is one of thinking/observing in concern, only to be followed by the shine on his head, being the same light coming from the chancellor's window, perhaps a character clash (or it's Heimer's resentment for using magic while she's willing to do so) Chancellor is also behind the light, on a table nonetheless, first time the sculptures aren't used as abstract décor but as in the place a human being. Perhaps a clue on her ambition? Even her statue wants things a statue can't have. The song also suggest being the greatest don't mean slack, so... perhaps Piltover (and ppl running it) aren't as great as we thought? I'd expect a villain if not a sinister motive somewhere. Vi and Powder are gently shielded by Vander's hands with great care, a great contrast to his scary rugged outer appearance, though this is only limited to what he's wearing, his bodily features are cleanly made, with even chisel marks still visible in his palms, their consistency shows each strike was deliberate and careful, say from years of punching and fighting for the righteous reasons. ofc there're some cheesy remarks such as Vi& Powder being lit up there, meaning those kids are this guy's beacon, seeing them makes him take the right calls. The guy ominously standing behind and consuming Vander& kids in the process, the guy got beef with them! Himself/His eye can't be natural as it's actually glowing like hot coals, perhaps a scar? dunno everyone around Piltover&Zaun has some sort of augment. New character, alethic, and with a mask probably a troublemaker, color's green so someone from Zaun, I wanna guess Ekko since Benzo sold Ionian masks like one this folk could be wearing? Caitlin and police brutality, the excessive force shatters the gun muzzle. Booo! Probably tied to the new guy to arrest them. Run Forres- I mean Run Viktor Run! Could this be a hint of his evolution idea as he's getting liberated from his leg braces, I mean the "shot" of Caitlyn was earlier so perhaps he's on the run now? If that's the case I'd say he's running away from Jayce 'cuz Jayce is an arrogant c*nt who's also happened to be tied deeply with Viktor. Jayce "hammering in" the fact that he lived up to his potential and became an arrogant c*nt swinging around highly dangerous weapons, my god why he's so mad lookin while firing up that thing, pls don't hurt my poor boi Viktor he just got his legs. Last 3 shots is the prelude of the sibling fight with the highest body count in Piltover&Zaun

You know they've nailed an introduction when you're left wanting to see and hear more of it, 80 seconds of this just isn't enough. Couldn't bring myself to skip a single second of it! Absolutely cracking stuff. This rendition of the song just makes it extra spicy, damn. Arcane really just knocked it out the park. Sometimes life is good. Feels good man :)

This is by far probably the best intro to a series I've ever seen, and you can't help but watch it over and over again. it's also one of the few intros I don't skip when watching a show, it's just that good and you can't even argue about it. They really did an amazing job❤

Skipping this opening in Netflix is like throwing diamonds in lava at Minecraft.

This show had absolutely NO business being as absolutely amazing as it is.

I know y'all enjoy the drop in this version but I'm here for the first part, when the lyrics start, with a solid baseline behind and an intense violin keeping it tense. I also like how it transitions from the emotionally charged start with Vi and Powder back to back as children.

I figured it out, this version has an ENTIRE ORCHESTRA in it if you listen closely, and ALL OF IT fades in and out with the song rhythm which makes the already catchy sequence that much more impactful. the timed animations on top of that just drives the point home

This song is perfect, let me show why SPOILERS 0:12 he got cast into his greatness 0:16 Talks about mind because he's the smartest on the show 0:21 "I'm searching to be whole" went on a journey with Vi to discover herself 0:23 "my back is to the world" he got cast out of the council 0:27 literally her whole character + trama with mom 0:31 quick cut to victor because he told Vi and Powder they had potential 0:34 "they hate us (main villain) 0:39 fireflies had to go through so much living in the underground and with all the death 0:42 everyone hated them because they got in the way of both of the main groups 0:46 spare the simpathy (Catherine felt bad for her) 0:50 felt like the world was against him 0:54 "My enemy" while showing the rivalry 1:00 look out for the title

Silco is unironically a good father figure, morally not really but in terms of support 100%

These lyrics describe what the person who’s shown goal and personality are. Jayce and Viktor let their minds race around in science and magic, Heimerdinger turns his back to the people and ignores them, and Mel wants to have the greatest nation. They really did good with this song

I’ve only just finished arcane rn, but honestly I’m impressed. Not only was the story line great but the characters themselves were honestly extraordinary and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever find a show like this but in the meantime I’ll be hoping they make a season 2! But seriously this show was something else and I mean that in a good way! Man if only I had found out about this show sooner..but seriously I’m so dam amazed and feel blessed to have even found this show 😭🙌🏽

I was watching this with my dad and gave him the look when he skipped the intro. It’s literally the best intro to exist, the song and the visuals are just… hoo wow.

The music is perfection, but the statues just really add icing to the already perfect intro. They really define the major characters sooo well. I love all the statues but I adore the first one the most, just… Vi being ever so determined and focused, and Powder with looking so curious or… idk, as she looks like she’s visibly leaning her head against the back of Vi’s head. It’s so powerful to me and I remember after seeing them the first time and then the statue it just… encapsulates them so well to me in just a statue
